I’ve noticed this one has a weird hum when it’s running. It’s not super loud, but it’s definitely different from my first unit, which runs almost silently. I’m not sure if it’s going to cause any issues down the line, but I figured I’d leave this review to timestamp it just in case. I'm always looking for a better portable air compressor for tires. And I've tried a lot of them.This portable tire inflator gets 4 stars because:1. It's portable, smaller than most, and packs a big punch to inflate your tires pretty quickly.2. It Gives you lots of connections to inflate, so it's not just your tires on your car, you can inflate bike tires, footballs, basketballs, and more. (See pic for the connectors it gives you.)3. They give you a good-quality USB cord to charge it. And holds the charge well.4. The LCD on the outside of the tire inflator lights up, and you can choose from the symbols what you're going to inflate. Plus, you can choose PSIs, and it will tell you the pressure and what you want to set it to.5. Good instructions.Only cons I have are: (These are my personal preferences.)1. I don't like the connector, it's a flip down one, the kind you find on bike pumps. I don't find that as easy to use on my car tires. I wish there was an optin to screw it on. So it's more challenging getting it on my car tires. (I like the one from Sharper Image better. Plus, that one's shaped like a gun, so easy to hold and connect it.)2. There's no light on it. On my older one from the Sharper image, it has a light on it, so when I'm connecting it to the tire, I can see the connection to get it right.3. It's really loud, and scared the heck out of me the first time I used it. Yet, the good thing is there's a terrific fan in there that will inflate your tires pretty quickly, albeit with a loud volume.
