Sun Zero Seraphina Textured 100% Blackout Cordless Roman Shade, 31" x 64", Taupe

I ordered this shade for my daughter's nursery because we recently started transitioning her to the crib. The sun shines directly into her room in the mornings though, so we needed something better than normal shades to block the light. We decided to go with a shade instead of curtain, because it's a single window and thought it would have a clearer, more discrete look than a curtain.Overall, there are a LOT of options when it comes to purchasing shades and I'm glad I didn't spend additional money on a more expensive, custom one!Overall review: Easy to assemble shade, which provides significant light blockage. Very visually appealing and easy to use. Honestly, I have no negative feedback on this product, other than I wish they had MORE color options!- True to color. I ordered the color Taupe and it's a good blend between beige and grey. Leans more towards beige than grey, but that's what I wanted.- Quality material. Pretty, subtle texture that doesn't look busy.- Some roman shades have a thicker material, which looks bulky when pulled all the way up. This shade doesn't look bulky while still being thick enough to provide the blackout effect. I think the light filter comes from the liner on the inside.- Assembly was very easy! We had to remove the original shades on the window to install it, but it still completely blocks the light.- Multiple size options available, which fit perfectly into standard window sizes.- BONUS: The actual material simply velcros onto the hardware. So, in the event you wanted to replace the material, you could easily swap it out without having to change or unscrew the hardware!

Nice look, easy installation, good value for price

I have ordered this exact shade 5 times. One order was perfect and hung immediately- no issues at all it’s lovely. The second order to get a matching one came without hardware, easy enough returned and reordered. The third order came and was the wrong color - again I returned it and ordered a new one. The fourth came without hardware. I have since then ordered the item again - showing it will be delivered a whole 5 weeks after my order was made but for some reason shows available for 2 day delivery on the items page. Once I get this shade I will never again order from this seller - it’s unacceptable and you can’t even get in contact with them to help resolve the issue.

We installed this blind on an antique kitchen door that had a large glass plate in it, less for darkening and more for privacy. It has good weight, and installation (outside installation for us) was easy. Would recommend that if you are measuring for darkening, make sure to allow enough coverage on the sides. I could have used another inch of blind width ideally. But it does cover the glass window, and we do have the privacy we need. Note to manufacturer--the plastic piece that is supposed to slide on the bottom to pull/up down, is IMPOSSIBLE to slide on--super tight and will not go over the fabric blind. I had to buy one at Home Depot, and that worked out fine. The blind does go up and down very nicely with just one pull. Overall, a good blind for the money.

installed the blinds on my windows but they do not retract and roll up when you pull down. i need to be able to have my blinds go up and down. it was a disappointment because the fabric is very nice and thick and the blinds darkened my room nicely.

These are truly blackout. some you get let light in through the shade, but these do very good. Easy to mount, two screw holes per side and the top bar mounts to the holder easily. once on, you can slide left/right some to adjust to center window. easy up/down pulling on the back side take-up.
