It does what it is supposed to do but it creates lot of bubbles in the flow. I have tried filling up more but it still there. You can use it a few times and then dump it, thinking of getting the electric ones for long term use.

I cannot take medication due to allergies so when the gut stopped functioning properly for a few days after a hard fall and then became impacted I was at a loss. But this was the solution. There are no instructions but this doesn't matter because there is a lot of online tuition. It is a simple gravity fed bowel wash, the small tapered nozzle is the one to use. Fill the bag with warm water, allow the tube to fill to expel air then close the tap. Hang the bag at chest height or higher (holding it up can be tiring). Lubricate and gently insert, open the tap and wait while gravity allows water to enter. It took me two attempts because I didn't allow enough time, but second time around I had a lie down letting the water work it's way around the bowel. I am in favour of self care whenever possible and this gave me the chance to cope with a simple problem without any fuss and without having to wait for appointments.

I've been buying this item for nearly 30 years, and it's perfect for those days of constipation. Reliable and good value for money. It's easy to use. The bag wears out after about 6 months with little leaks, but that's not a problem.

Poor quality and faulty. Join around the hose and pipe bag leaked.

The product works as advertised. I just regret getting this kind as it is quite cumbersome and the tube is too long. A smaller more compact product is prefered

I suffer from IBS with constipation and trust me when I say it takes me 2/3 weeks before I poop. I thought I’d never see light at the end of the tunnel, but I did, that little glimmer of hope..I was released from the pain and suffering and it was like I was resurrected and forgiven.If your looking to unclog your bowels, I’d recommend this, but say your prayers before you start. Sound proof your bathroom and make sure you have enough bleach to - I can’t even finish this sentence… but you get it.
