I added this to my lye water and it resulted in a lovely lather.

So this powder doesn’t really dissolve out, which is disappointing. I make a deep conditioner for my hair using real bananas, but wanted to try out a powder instead for convenience. Back to the drawing board!

I love this banana peel powder. However, the company should sift the powder better so that it will dissolve better into water. The powder sits on top of the water instead of dissolving.

I used it in my deep conditioner and also in a face mask.

I got this banana powder for hair but I also read that it is great for skin which makes sense as it is full of nutrients. The way I am going to use it is in a homemade hair mask to strengthen my hair and help with hair growth. I also want to try using it in a face mask or evenly possibly in the bath for extra nutrients as the skin absorbs everything it is in contact with. It is a pale tan powder and it has a faint banana smell. The powder is very fine and easy to mix into things without getting clumpy which I love. This would be a fun addition to a spa night.

This banana peel powder is not culinary grade, and is for external use only. I mixed it with water and used it as a facial mask. The mask did not go on smoothly, and was dark brown in color with a very only the slightest hint of faint banana scent. It was very messy to wash off, yet seemed to moisturize and leave my skin happy. I had to look up how to use this product. Most people use the banana peel as an addition to homemade and store bought body/facial creams. I added it to a very nice moisturizer I have at home, did not feel any difference before adding it and after. I assume this is purchased by those that already have a use in mind for it. I ordered it to try in exchange for a review. I really wish there was some, any indication on the package as to it's best use. It is not for internal use, has little discernable scent.
