OSTENT Dual USB Adapter Converter Cable Cord for Sony PlayStation 1/2 PS One PSX Wired Controller Gamepad Joystick to PC Laptop

Bought this cause I had three Playstation 2 SG model guitar controllers I wanted to use for Clone Hero on my gaming PC running windows 11 pro. And it's perfect. Just plug in the controller to the adapter, plugged the adapter in to my PC, booted up clone hero, mapped the buttons, and it's good to go. One thing to note is that this adapter does not support whammy function with the guitar controllers, but everything else, including star power tilt works just fine. So if that's not an issue for you, then this is the perfect adapter for anyone trying to use PS2 SG guitars for Clone Hero.

I ordered one at first and it didn’t work. About 2 years ago I had the same adapter and I never had issues. But this one I ordered did not function at all. NO LED nothing.I contacted manufacturer and they sent a replacement. But the replacement doesn’t work either, lol. I plug my controller in and the LED flashes and tweaks out like there’s a short circuit.How you gonna send me a replacement and not even test it first? I should’ve listened to the reviews.

Not sure if this is the exact one. But I bought one that looks exactly like this on eBay about 15 years ago. Still works perfect. Downloading third party software like xpadder helped too. I would give it 5 stars but I feel that would mess up the ratings if this is not the exact same one or an older version.

Couldn't get it to work. Inconclusive results.

Bought it to be able to use my guitar hero guitar on my pc and it works perfectly. I use it for ps2 controllers as well haven't had any issues. I've been using it for about 2 months now.

No input despite indications that gamepad is connected properly. Not a lot online that's easy to locate about how to troubleshoot - really have to know what you are doing, I guess, in order to make it do what the advertisements stops just short of calling plug-and-play. Was excited to try some favorite PS2 games without needing a whole television setup in a new location. Mostly put a damper on that.

First one I bought lights up when each controller is inserted, but the one I just received doesn't light up but works perfectly tho.UPDATE: ONCE OSTENT BECAME AWARE OF MY SLIGHT ISSUE WITH MY SECOND ADAPTER (LED'S DON'T LIGHT UP WITH CONTROLLER'S PLUGGED IN BUT FUNCTIONS OTHERWISE), THEY HAVE SHIPPED OUT ANOTHER ADAPTER AND APOLOGIZED, AND MADE IT RIGHT.AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE OSTENT.!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This device requires a custom driver. After installing the driver it still DOESN’T WORK with a PS2 DualShock controller.First, it requires a custom download for its driver.Second, the driver installs a program called “Network Connectivity driver” which replaces the standard game controller UI in Windows with its own odd UI.Third, it installs a startup item in Windows called “USB”Fourth, in the Windows Add/Remove Programs UI the installed program doesn’t show up when sorted by name. It does show up when sorted by install date.Even going through all that a PS2 DualShock controller never worked with this thing.To its credit this will UNinstall properly.After I uninstalled it I ran my virus/malware scanner on my PC just to be sure.FYI, this company also makes the other PS2 to USB adapter on Amazon.
