DigitalLife 3.5mm Audio Ground Loop Noise Isolator - Hum Eliminator, GI35-A

We've had a long time intermittent 60hz hum in our church's subwoofer. Our soundboard is connected by a "snake" that runs through a largely inaccessible tunnel under the floor to the stage. After many failed attempts to eliminate ground loops and otherwise isolate the problem, I took a flyer with this. Connected it between the snake and the sub and instant silence with no detriment to the subs output.Because the hum has been intermittent, I'm a little leery of declaring victory, but so far it has worked perfectly. I'll update if anything changes.

I play in an 80s band and we would occasionally get a low hum/buzz from the kick drum. Changing mics, cables, even the drum itself (wood vs acrylic) wouldn't stop the hum which would force us to pull back on volume. That's no bueno with a kick you want that sucker pounding! This little guy did the trick. Ran it from the drum mic with a short 6" XLR to the snake and hum completely gone. Plenty of headroom left, no loss of signal and able to really crank it up! I'd say as a gigging musician you could not go wrong having one of these in your toolkit! Highly Recommend!

I put this between my speaker and my mixer and it literally made the hum three times louder. Took it off and concluded, it created a bigger mess. Maybe I did something wrong. But how simple could it be! I tried it in two different locations and the same results LOUDER noise - REFUND!

I Had a lot of issues with feedback/noise when I tried to play music from my computer to OBS for livestream. I used my laptop DI box and it did work (but those are $120). This to care of the ground issues I was having and now the line is noise free...I excited to have that fixed at this pricepoint.

We were have some ground looping static from some of our equipment ordered two for streaming inputs from our audio system Knocked it right out with no issues.

I have a mp3 adapter in my SUV which hooks up to a Bluetooth FM transmitter but it would pickup lot of unwanted noise. I added this device to the signal chain and now the audio is much clearer, all of the unwanted noise it pretty much gone. If you have any 3.5mm audio line picking up weird sounds from a power source this works perfectly.

After moving some equipment and redoing the electrical on our platform, a hum was introduced into our system that is only heard in our monitors. This isolator removed most of the hum; if it's real quiet, you can hear it, but it's about 98% gone. Good enough for us to consider it a success until we can isolate the cause.

Now I can enjoy music in my old car. Highly recommend.
