Years ago I read about a study that silicone was extremely useful for healing scars and wounds due to it creating the perfect microclimate for collagen re-building. At the time there were zero products for this use, so I had to source a thin sheet of silicone and tape it on. When products did hit the market they were expensive. I was so happy to see that now silicone patches are dirt cheap and this cut-to-size tape is perfect, you can cut the exact size you need and not waste anything.Last week I suffered a deep dog bite on the back of my hand. Not the first time it’s happened, but it’s the first time it took a little chunk out of me and my hand swelled up and got infected. Had to go to urgent care. The pain was excruciating. I had an oozing gross wound for 2-3 days and then a very thick and itchy scab developed.I ordered some of this tape and slapped it on around day 4. I cannot believe the progress. After about 24 hours the thick scab had dissolved and the wound was visibly closing up. Without the scab there it allowed it to keep draining too which was a good thing. I’m now at day 8 and it’s almost fully closed up and the redness is much reduced. I’m hopeful that starting with the patch early I’ll be able to avoid a bad scar. I’m constantly injuring myself and this is a much worse wound than normal for me, yet it’s healing so fast. I have also been using a red light too.I immediately ordered another roll and had it sent to my parents, because they are always getting little scrapes that take forever to heal.Best thing is that this stuff is SO comfortable, it stays put, it’s held up fine to handwashing, and it doesn’t pull on your skin the way a bandaid does. It moves with you and doesn’t hurt to remove. If you peel it back a few times a day to check your boo-boo the edges will start to lose their stickiness, but if you don’t touch it can last 24-48 hours no problem.Will update when I know for sure if I avoided a scar.

This is the second brand of scar sheet that I’ve bought after having a small surgery. The other brand had very thin silicone that often folded on itself when removed from the backing. This is a little thicker, so that doesn’t happen. It adheres to and removes from skin easily and can easily be cut down to size. I only where them at night, but depending on your skin tone, it could blend well to wear during the day. Sheets are perforated to be torn off of the roll. Between silicone strips at night and scar gel during the day, I’m healing well, so I guess these are helping. I would recommend this product.

I just started using these silicone scar sheets, and the roll format is super convenient. It easily tears off into small, manageable pieces, though you can still cut longer sections if needed. It works perfectly for small scars; if you have larger scars, consider getting a bigger version.The only downside I've noticed is that the adhesive begins to weaken and edges start rolling up after about 2-3 uses—other similar products I've tried usually last around 5-7 uses before this happens. However, considering the price, it's still a great value and does exactly what it needs to do. Highly recommended if you're looking for an affordable and effective option.

The SLUKHIG Silicone Scar Sheets are a great option for scar treatment. The roll format provides plenty of material, allowing you to cut it to the perfect size for any scar, whether it’s from a C-section, surgery, or acne. The silicone feels soft and gentle on the skin, and it stays in place well throughout the day. I’ve noticed some improvement in the appearance of my scars after a few weeks of consistent use, which is really encouraging.One downside is that the adhesive could be a bit stronger. On areas with more movement (like joints), the tape sometimes lifts and needs readjusting. Additionally, while it’s reusable, cleaning and maintaining the strips can take some extra effort to ensure they last.Overall, this is a highly effective product for scar treatment, and it’s well worth trying. With a few small adjustments, it could easily earn five stars.

I’ve been using Silicine Scar Tape for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. The tape is easy to apply and stays securely in place throughout the day without irritation. I’ve noticed a visible improvement in the appearance of my scar—it’s definitely looking flatter and less noticeable. The tape is soft and comfortable, and I appreciate how discreet it is. It doesn’t show through clothing, which is a big plus for me. Overall, I’m thrilled with how well this product works and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective way to treat scars!

I have used one other version of this product, so have a basis for comparison and can now say that not all silicone scar sheets are the same. This version has two main deficits:1) it is somewhat stiff, so although it is fine when my leg is straight, it has large horizontal wrinkles when I'm in a sitting position (see my photo). That means that at every wrinkle point, the scar sheet is no longer in contact with my skin. If it's not in contact with my skin, then its occlusive benefits are lessened-- which is (as I understand it) one of the primary aspects of a silicone patch that makes it effective.2) adhesiveness is not nearly as effective and long-lasting as the version I used before this. The first application of this product barely lasted 2 days, as the edges folded under while on my skin, which gradually peeled off the upper edge of the patch each time I removed or changed clothes. Previous version lasted 2 weeks for each patch.These are definitely better than nothing at all, but I would certainly pay more next time for a more efficacious product.

Easy to use. Very comfortable and can use the same strip multiple times before it stops sticking. Definitely worth the price.
