Advancis Medical D7709 Activon Manuka Honey Tube, 25g

I got this to add to skincare products, but it actually made my face break out in dry, flaky patches.HOWEVER! When I was feasted upon by some unseen critter in the night and was awoken scratching furiously at angry raised bumps, a quick wash with antibacterial soap and a swipe of this honey with peppermint oil on a damp sponge over the affected area allowed me to go back to sleep, itch free. Only a small dab is required, so this will last until the next lifetime. Recommended.

Very good product for wound healing.

Good product but didn't relise you could only use it once. You can't put the cap back on.

Great healing product on my dog's hot spots and on my cats skin when irritated. Rub in well otherwise the flavour encourages more licking of hot spots. Less scratching and irritation when rubbed in well & promotes healing and healthy skin making it less sore looking.

Even though this helps my dog leg if I use it every time I changed my dog dressing it would only be a week which would get quite costly for the amount I need compared to other brands, she as a tumor and wound that I need to clean at least 2 times a day she does have other meds this is a good price if you are using it sparely and I am not knocking it's healing it might not work as well on wound that don't heal but because it's natural I wanted my dog not to always have ointment that have chemical in

This product is absolutely outstanding and a must have for every first aid kit.I had a cyst that became infected after a nurse told me to squeeze it (she completely went against all medical teaching when she said that, never squeeze a cyst as it causes infection). I'd had 5 rounds of antibiotics but no change. I remembered Dr Noel Fielding using medical grade honey on the Supervet to prevent infection, so I thought I'd give this a try. It's truly marvellous. It cleared up the cyst infection. I've used it on burns and it just takes all the pain and inflammation away. It can be used on tooth problems, wounds, spots/zits, burns and thrush. Basically anything that needs inflammation to be reduced and skin to be healed.I'm currently using it on my dog who has an abrasion on his elbow. It helped clean the wound and the area is now growing new skin. I clean the area with an antiseptic wipe, spray with hypochlorus (leucillin), put some honey on an Allevyn non adhesive dressing and then cover with some vet wrap. I distract him during all this by letting him lick some coconut oil from a pot.It does have that typical manuka honey smell and it can smell as it absorbs wound exudate but the wound itself will be clean.When you open it, you twist the cap off and then turn that cap around to seal it.
