Golden Security Retro Mini Arcade Basketball Game

My 7-year-old really loves this and I find myself playing it as well. I was trying to find a tabletop basketball toy but most of them I think are open so that the basketballs can get lost and we have a 1-year-old too, so it would be dangerous if he got a hold of one. Anyway this is well made I like that it makes sounds and keeps score and it really is easy (but not too easy) to make a basket once you get the hang of it, for me and also him as a kid with smaller hands.

This little basketball set brought more fun to my desk than I anticipated. Between calls and emails, a quick match against myself perks me up—quite the distraction. The build feels sturdy enough to handle the excitement of a close contest, and the absence of any sharp edges is a considerate touch. It's compact, but not at the expense of playability. The electronic scoreboard, however, could be brighter, and the arcade tunes become repetitive. I find the adjustable timer quite handy for quick games. It's not perfect, but it's a charming way to introduce the basics of basketball to the little ones or to catch a breather during the workday.
