Be wary - may not have the Leica cameras as advertised!
The media could not be loaded. I have had this phone for about a year and a half now, so have had ample time to try it out. The first thing to note is that apparently it is impossible to get it in the US and some other countries with the Leica cameras and software for licensing reasons. I've read the cameras here are actually Sony. This was disappointing and very confusing, since the ads usually show "Leica" on the back and say they have Leica cameras. I decided on this phone principally for the camera quality, but the reviews seem to all be with the Leica, so they ended up being irrelevant. That said, I've been pretty happy with the main camera. I take a lot of photos at night, either using a flashlight or by setting the phone somewhere and using a long exposure (up to 30 seconds). A very nice feature is the voice-activated shutter - just say, "cheese"! Really bright spots in low-light images tend to lose definition, and something like a uniform dark sky photo gets darker near the edges, or (rarely) even develops concentric rings. I most often use the Pro setting for these night photos so I can control the shutter speed and ISO (but not aperture). The first attached still photo demonstrates different lighting, with the foreground either in shadow or bright light, the village in fairly minimal streetlight, and the mountains in moonlight. The bright part of the sky is where the sun set. There's a photo of moths around a streetlight. The dandelion was taken with a UV flashlight, and parts of it glow brightly. The flower pix are cropped; I can't focus that close. I almost never use the telephoto and wide angle cameras, which seem poor quality in comparison. Video is pretty good, but occasionally there's a "stuttering" effect. Not sure if that's a processing or storage issue. The autofocus is quick, even under low-light conditions (see camel video; I'm fumbling with a flashlight). The rest of the phone works well, does all the things a smart phone these days does. I haven't been able to find any manual specifically for the 13T. There is a generic user guide for MIUI 13 products of moderate usefulness; some options aren't available in the 13T, although it doesn't say that. The "Quick Start" guide is almost useless. ...In short, I recommend this phone as long as you don't need to take wide angle or telephoto photos. I wouldn't pay the $599 it's currently going for, and I would be very wary of expecting Leicas - I tried 2x on Amazon, and once elsewhere. (According to my orders history, this is the one I finally bought. No Leicas!) ... ..Oh! Apparently there is one that says it's without the Leica cameras for $420. Good luck!
