I am very happy with this doll head. I purchased it to go with an OB11 body, and they work perfectly together! I was surprised at how solid the head is... it has some weight to it. I'm not sure of the material, but I have resin dolls, and it feels a bit like resin. Either way - I am happy with my purchase, and will be buying another for a little 'boy doll'.

My granddaughter and I are making Chirri & Chirra (see the book series) dolls so I bought two. They are very cute and fit the Obitsu 11 bodies we bought perfectly. We’ll probably switch the eye color at some future date, but they are good for now.

The head comes well protected in a tin with a foam insert. The eyes are not installed, you will have to do it yourself. The head is made of hard plastic, and the back of the head is attached with magnets. The head can only be attached to a small peg - there is no through and through hole in the neck for a hook or elastic band and it cannot be used with Obitsu bodies as the title suggests.The faceup is very pretty and well made. The eyes are black. No eyelashes.

I've seen these YMY heads and I haven't really been a fan - until now. The faceup is amazingly detailed and cute, so if you're looking for a less cartoony, child-like head for your YMY, this is the one to get.The eyes are the same as the ones that come in the YMY eye set, so if you'd like something different, that's the size you need.I am a little disappointed that there is not an eye harness in the head, but they do supply you plenty of putty to keep the eyes in place. The head is pretty standard size for an OB11 doll so you'll be able to easily find a wig. I personally have a little curly haired one coming for this little guy. He's going to be a halfling. :)

Love the detail on this Obitsu head. It came with glass eyes and sticky tack. The magnetic closure is strong. The quality of this doll head is very impressive. No issues.

The head is well made with durable construction. I enjoy DIY projects with my dolls, so this is perfect. I can use the eyes or swap them for another set I have in my collection. I like to do custom makeup, so I can add my own eyelashes, but the blush is already on the face. I can easily sand it off and redo it if I wanted to, but since this one is more of a child face, I decided to leave it as is. The makeup is actually done nicely. I usually like to thread my hair into the scalp, but this scalp is a bit thicker than I usually work with, so I am just going to use glue, which is fine too.
