Small, compact & perfect for projects!
Small & compact! Purchased to help me with my custom royal iced sugar cookies & definitely would recommend! But if you’re looking for a larger screen to view movies, this may not be as large a screen as you would want. Screen image for movies is large enough to put on the wall or ceiling of my 11 year old son’s room. It has an HDMI port, usb, and charging port. The sound is exceptional & crystal clear as well. I hook this tiny unit up with my Iphone or Ipad.

Mini projector
Love it for cookie decorating easy to set up amazing sharpness on image, small and portable, streams amazing. It is not connect via bluetooth but with HDMI cable. If you want less wires go with the newer version.

Nice projector, good price and pocket sized.
I decided to purchase this projector after much research into ones that are under $200. In addition to mostly positive reviews, I like that it is from a well known reputable company.First the good. This projector is tiny, will fit in a shirt pocket, so it is very portable, easy to transport and carry. The set up and use is easy. The picture quality is quite good, better than I expected. I also purchased the carrying case that is made specifically for this. It will hold the projector and all necessary cables. Now the not so good. The advertised battery life is 2 hours, but after fully charging it and using it several times, I only got about 20 minutes of use from the internal battery before it died. This was not a huge concern for me as I will mostly have it connected to a power outlet or a battery pack. The built in speaker has sound that is as tiny as the projector. So I am using it with a more powerful portable speaker. It is nice that it has an audio output jack, but I just connect my speaker to my source device Bluetooth. Another minor issue is that the projector does not support Bluetooth, everything needs to be connected with physical cables. But again, no big deal to me.The final and biggest issue is that there is no way to adjust the brightness level. When close to a wall with smaller screen size, it is plenty bright enough. But at further distance for big screen use, it could be brighter. So in that case, it is best in a completely dark room.Overall, considering its low cost, this is a very good basic projector, and I recommend it if you can live with its minor shortcomings.

Great for cookies!
Love this little projector! I typically use it for cookie decorating and so far it has worked amazing! It is super bright, no need to turn down any lights when using it. Picture quality is great—no fuzziness at all! Highly recommend. It’s been awesome!

Truly terrible. Frustrating experience and false claims by Kodak.
The experience with this projector, which I was really excited to try, has been abysmal. I returned the first one because it wouldn't "hold" a focused picture, it seemed to creep quickly back to blurry no matter how many times I adjusted it. So, I returned that one, thinking it was an anomaly. I got a second unit, and while the focus was fine, it would not acknowledge any input I tried besides a Roku via the HDMI cable. I tried a USB drive, plugging directly into my laptop, bought a new micro SD card just for the trying (waste of money), and none of them were recognized as an input source by the projector. So, if you're hoping to project holiday holograms and whatnot, PASS ON BY. The most frustrating thing is the listing and the support docs specifically SAY that you can use a USB drive, a microSD card, etc. but it is simply untrue. I suspect someone on the product team grimaced when this dud was released, knowing that a large number of people wouldn't be able to use it as they claim. Seriously disappointed, don't waste your money, and don't be fooled by how cute and small it is. If it doesn't function, cute doesn't go far. Stop it, Kodak.

Excellent Small Projector for Drawing and Tracing
This projector is great for quickly tracing/roughing out a drawing. The projector is nice and bright. At about 30" above the drawing table the image will fit nicely on an 11"X17" Sheet. That is the sweet spot for Sequential Art. If the edges of the projected image are aligned parallel to the edges of the drawing surface, and the projector is level you get very little distortion. READ THE MANUAL. This projector is very small, very light. Its Kodak, very nice quality. Be sure you have a sturdy overhead "camera mount/tripod". I used: an ULANZI Camera Desk Mount Stand with Flexible Arm, Overhead Mount, you mileage will likely vary, there are lots of good ones out there. FYI: Neal Adams/Wally Wood and most Bronze/Silver age artists traced. Its okay. Put together your layout, snap a pic on your iPhone and connect your phone to the projector and you are in business! FYI: for iPhones with a lightning adapter, you will need a Apple Lightning to HDMI (Digital AV) Adapter

good while it lasted; battery totally died after less than 2 years
update - after 2 years of very minimal use (like once a month), the battery has completely died - it never held a charge well but now it won't turn on even plugged in. it's only got a year warranty, so I took it apart to make sure it wasn't something easy to fix like a ribbon that wasn't connected properly inside, but it's the battery, you can't buy a replacement anywhere, and it's soldered to the board, and unsoldering it is only worth it if you can find a battery that would fit the specs and fit inside...so...I would not recommend spending the $180 on this.I bought a cheaper one that's bigger and actually prefer that one a lot. This is adorable looking and very portable, but the battery life is so terrible, you really have to keep it plugged in (and the cord in comes with is very, very short, so you'll need to swap it out), and I only had success connecting via hdmi, not microsd or usb. That said, the picture quality is great and bright. The sound is rather quiet, so I used a separate speaker.
