Easy to set up and get started

an affordable alternative
I needed a laptop to run Microsoft Publisher (not made for Mac) and this was a recommended brand. So far, it works well, was easy to set up. It has a few quirks that I haven't figured out yet, but it gets the job done.

I can type faster than it can display.
Needed a newer laptop to leave unmolested for work and school. No games. No internet browsing. No watching movies or wasting time. Something to keep clean and running like a top that I wouldn't need to worry about.I figured because of my intended use I wouldn't need to spend too much. WOW was I wrong. Here's the thing, this laptop is so bad that I type faster than it can display what I typed. I have literally NOTHING installed. It's running only what it came with from the factory. And when I type a single word in any app or program and I have to wait a moment for it to finish. This is BAD. This should have never gone to market. And what's hilarious is that this is in S mode which I guess is supposed to provide better performance. On paper it meets the requirements for windows 11 but I'm struggling to do anything.

Not bad for the money.
Several of us were under the impression it was touch screen. It is not. I came with Windows 11 which has some nice new features. The price was good. It’s very light weight. I would recommend getting one.

Very Basic
It’s very slow and has poor resolution. Mine doesn’t charge well at all. Save your money and buy a better computer.

Reliable. ????
It appeared to be made with inferior plastic for the keys and the placement of the keys were awkward spacing. It does not seem reliable. For an HP product I was expecting an excellent product and did not receive that.

Won’t even power on
The media could not be loaded. Initially I was happy with the way the laptop looked and felt. I plugged it in to let it get a slight charge before I started set up. Came back to start about 2 hours later and it doesn’t power on. Charging indicator light works fine so I know it’s got battery. The only thing it does is flash 3 times followed by 2 rapid flashes on the caps lock key. Definitely frustrating, and I will be returning.
