Bought to replace a better known branded product and very little difference between them. If anything I prefer the beldray as the washing line is a bright colour and stops any unintentional "clothes lines" when running across the drying green.

Easy to buy on Amazon. Goods packaged well and delivered on time.Good length of line and easily retracts.The cleat onto which the line is secured is a potential weak point, however if you follow the instructions on how to secure your line on the cleat, it does remove a significant amount of pressure on that part and will improve the lifespan of the retractable washing line. Ok so my own fault for not measuring the space I needed it for. If you want a smaller line then this is ok, but usually I have a double one and this makes it not able to do that with it being just 12metre when pulled out.Saying that though the thickness of the line did make me wonder if this is a thing that has happened to all makes now. They don’t seem to have as strong line in them. The case is easy to fix well would have been if same make as one we had up previous. Yes OH did have the told you so look on his face. Not just that the item being too short but also the fact the wall needed drilling and fittings on this not same as other older one. So yes I might have grabbed a bargain price wise as was on offer but in terms of his time and moaning levels think I would prefer to pay more and not get the told you, and how did you measure with your hands held out as per usual. It’s up that’s the main thing but do I think it will last as long as previous one? About half the thickness I would say so will be interesting to see. Better inside than out I would say too as the casing of it doesn’t feel that sturdy. Think next time I will leave it up to the resident line expert of the house along with the washing and ironing too. Well if he thinks he knows about things laundry wise why not let him tackle the other bits too.

These last 2-3 years. Got the same model so I didn’t have to drill new holes in the wall for a different bracket. The plastic hooks break and sometimes the retraction doesn’t work fully but easily resolved. Don’t overload the lines with really heavy items.
