I've delayed writing a review until I had used it for reading a book - it's been used extensively as a torch to find my way around the bedroom at night. I often use a Kindle, but wanted something so I could read in bed without disturbing my partner. I've now read two books, one of which was over 1400 pages.I'm really happy with the light. I love that you can change the colour temperature and the brightness. It attaches to the book securely, but I found the light didn't completely cover the two pages when it's on the lowest setting - maybe such a huge book also made it more difficult. My previous light was a flexible one which was great for page coverage, but quite a blue light and eventually it would flash randomly - and was heavier on batteries. Overall, I prefer this one. I do wish the head would turn just a little more than it does.Battery life is great. It's nice and compact, so much better than my previous one for travel. Also there is no lead to charge it - you plug it directly into a USB charger. I would buy it again.

I was looking for a small light that I could attach to my paperback and read in bed, whilst my husband slept next to me. It needed to be bright enough to read and yet dim enough not to wake him - this light is just that!! Three different colour tones (warm white, cool white and amber), each with 5 different brightness levels. It is very simple to change colour and brightness. The light remembers the last setting so when you switch it on in the middle if the night, it will switch onto the dim setting (if thats what you last used). I was worried it would automatically use the bright white default, but it doesn't, so I don't have to switch it on under the duvet and mess about with controls.The clip is strong enough to hold itself upright on the back of a paperback, and can be angled so the light is pointed at the pages but you can still turn the page without hitting the light.All in all, an excellent light, and even better when I consider how inexpensive it is. And the fact that it is USB charged is absolutely brilliant. Super easy. I am delighted I bought this, it almost makes waking up in the middle of the night for no reason tolerable ;-)

Bought this for my husband as a gift as he was using his phone to light up his book after I went to sleep. It was quite the balancing act and would often overbalance.He loves this cheap little gadget. It works perfectly, clipping onto his book. It's super light, gives a great lumination and charges really easily. Despite it's light weight, it feels nice quality and these cheapies often aren't very nice in the flesh so I can genuinely recommend. It's a good item for your hard earned.

Amazing little light. It has many functional features that readers can enjoy. you can set your preferred light settings with each book just with a click of a few buttons. Very easy to use. The device has enough movement and the light fully adjustable giving you full coverage of your pages. I wear glasses to read and was worried the light would reflect off them causing a glare, it's does on the more brighter settings however you can tone it down and it prevents that. The battery is really good. I havent had to charge it yet and its been a week,I read about 2-3 hours each day and it's still going strong. It has a USB attached similar to a dongle type that you charge through.The device attaches to your book with a slide on clip and although this can be a scary thought . ive found the top of the book works best and has left no damage or indents on any of my books. Would highly recommend. Very happy with this purchase.

Told by my optician that I needed a reading light so as to not strain my eyes and make more more prone to cataracts.Lovely light.Lasts A few weeks of reading 15 -30 mins at bed time.Downside is I find it damages the book cover when clipping it to the book. Plus it is heavy for a paperback when starting a new book. But I have the light at the front of the book, not on the back cover.Like it how I can have it as an amber light, but still bright enough to read. Is the option of a white light, but used this as wanting the warm, amber light prior to sleeping.It is small, so sits on my bedside cabinet without taking up much room. Charging involves putting it directly into a usb style plug, no hunting for cables. Takes a few hours to charge, but I charge it when it shows 2 out of 4 dots remaining.Nice little reading light

I’m so pleased with this! My partner goes to sleep early and I like to read my books for a bit longer but my side lamp keeps him awake. This reading light is perfect as it keeps the light directed at my pages and not the rest of the room. It clamps on to the book firmly so it doesn’t slip or move, but it’s adjustable so you can put it in the position you like. It’s got different brightness settings and 3 different colours that I can adjust to suit my eyes. The dimmest setting is still bright enough to illuminate both pages without my having to squint and my partner says the light isn’t bothering him. USB chargeable so I can just plug it in when I go to sleep and it’s charged ready for the next night. Not sure on battery life yet as I’ve only had it one night but I’ve been reading for 3 hours now and it’s still got a 3/4 charged battery. Considering it’s so cheap im happily surprised at how good it is. :-)

Brilliant little light, sturdy and compact. Gives a nice amount of light and you can change the colour.
