Arrived safely, and very tasty
Tuscan chestnut honey is very good. Brings back happy memories.

Unique: It has a hint of spicy after taste
For those not used to the taste of this (as I wasn't), initially you may not like this as it has this hint of spicy/bitter after taste. However after a few spoonfuls the taste actually grew on me. I can say I do like it.The texture is very runny (it's supposed to be unfiltered) and note it's not organic and neither is it advertised as such.Goes well with coffee it will add to the taste.Really nice quality honey. Have I tasted better? Yes, but never this type of taste that I really do like.

Disappointed
Tastes great but lid damaged on delivery and leaking so contents compromised.

Delicious, interesting but beware
I found this honey to be excellent but know what you are buying. It has a unique amaro-like taste. It’s rich, slightly earthy chestnut taste and very complex but it could be described as bitter sweet. If you are into amaro liqueurs such as Montenegro or Meletti (I am) then go ahead and buy.

Good honey, but not five stars
I have bought the Seggiano a couple of times, as well as the Greek Helmos. This is a perfectly nice chestnut honey, but not worth five stars. The Greek one is slightly thicker with a greater depth of flavour and doesn’t have the Seggiano slightly bitter tang. The Greek Helios is my go-to honey!

Raw Chestnut Honey
I am enjoying this honey tremendously. It is expensive because one is inclined to pig out on it! It has a slightly bitter overtone in comparison with other honeys - a sort of burnt toffee taste that is delicious.I shall be buying more.(I also like the fact that it is raw and therefore has not lost all its vitamins and minerals.)
