I was going to purchase the ones that came in a tub that was a little less expensive. So glad I didn't based on the reviews.This product was fresh and delicious too! Good value for the money.

These are the childhood candies we all (those over 50) remember that dissolve like church communion but with a candy surprise. Brought about by the flying saucer scares of the day. When I was a kid they were penny each. These are exactly the same and maybe even a bit fresher and more flavorful. I must be careful because I can eat a whole box in a day. I was thrilled to find they are still manufactured. Keep up the good work.

These are great, have bought them many times. Always fresh never stale. Sooo addictive, a great reminder of my childhood.

This was one of my favorite candies growing up in the 1960's/1970's. I used to get them from Woolworth's when penny candy existed. I still love them! It is great to order them 240/a box! Have to be careful because they are so "light" that I could eat a good number of them in one sitting! For the past few years, I have ordered a box at Christmas & split it between my 30 year old son (I turned him onto these when he was growing up) & myself. As far as flavor: bland with a bit of generic sweetness. The outer shell is similar to a "paper" that melts in your mouth (like a "communion wafer" if you are familiar); inside the shell are tiny candy beads (like nonpariels). You can also purchase them filled with sour powder (I like those, too!) Using Amazon Prime, these treats arrive quickly & are always safely packaged. Try these novelty candies for nostalgia's sake!

This is the second time I purchased these delicious candy filled wafers. They come fresh and definitely not smashed. Worth the money!

These candies are not easy to find locally so happy to find them here. Taste is the same as I remember as a kid....my family says it is an acquired taste...meaning more for me!

Not as I remember. I thought the crunch was because they were cold. But even warmed up to house temp, they still seemed stale. I know what I’m ordering, as I’ve grown up on them.
