Q: I was just trying to make sure I ordered a Medium

The medium I ordered was cut a bit "wide" even with a thick hoodie under it it was too roomy for my husband, he's 5'6", 150#. I returned his for a small.

Q: If i wear 3xl should i get a 3xl or get one size larger??

Stay with your size.My husband wears 3XL and can wear thick shirt under it and still has room to move. So I would say get the 3 XL

Q: Does this vest have any inside pockets? Are they on right or left side of vest? Approximately how large are the inside pockets, if any! Thanks.

It has one pocket on the inside left side, measures 5 1/2 x 7. Has Velcro closure on top. Anything else I can answer let me know.
