The media could not be loaded. The material, breadth and sturdiness all seem top notch.I hurt my left bicep doing a 145 kg deadlift on a mixed grip. When I tried a regular grip, I couldn't go beyond 130 kgs as the bar would roll out of my grip. I wasn't too succesful with lifting straps. That's why I was specifically searching for something just like these hooks. Comparable items on Amazon had mixed reviews but I decided to take a leap of faith. And boy...these are awesome. I just got off an EASY 140 kgs lift and I could have easily done 2 reps. That being said, it takes some adjustment to let the hooks do the heavy lifting and not ur actual grip.My wife couldnt lift with these, but it seems more of a psychological block.If you are a semi serious lifter with grip as a limiting factor (like me), go for it. If you are a pro, then it anyway won't be allowed.Happy lifting
