Stands up to 60mph gusts
After a storm broke a tower mast and mangled a super penetrator antenna, decided to give this a try. The way it's designed when the wind blows it's not heavy like a ground plane antenna would be. So as long as you have your mast properly guyed, it would take something stronger than 60 mph winds to bring it down. Performance is great; very low swrs & easy to assemble. Has handled the power I've put it through it so far. Very happy with the purchase.

Not truly an astroplane
This will do the job but honestly this is not an astro plane. The Avanti astroplane never had a gamma match and did not have 4 pieces dropping down from where you connect the coaxial cable. It's just misrepresentation in my opinion. As far as how we'll it works it's good and the SWRs are really good as well.
