STUPID LG FRIDGE
I accidentally bought a LG think IQ fridge for a rental house. The fan motor went out. Code FF and E. LG sent me the incorrect part number. This was the correct fan motor. I am a female and it was simple to replace, 4 screws (bring a short phillps) and a clip in connector. In 15 minutes the fridge was running correctly. My local repair wanted $250 to show up and $175 an hour. The part from LG was $350 with $50 to ship.

FITS LG, BUT MIGHT NOT SOLVE PROBLEM; WILL FIX IT BY DUMPING REFRIGERATOR.
Hint: The fan is located in the back, behind the lowest panel. It’s an OEM replacement, and a perfect fit, but couldn’t cure the technical problem it’s associated with. After installation, the LG’s internal analyzer smugly told me our garage refrigerator can’t be fixed by a DIYer, which means calling an expensive service technician. It's probably cheaper to buy a used refrigerator. No further clues were given, but consumers should be the judge of what’s reparable.
