Very nice salt block and it’s in a metal basket to give you the opportunity to take it off if you need more grit space. Always like the flavor that comes from cooking on the salt. Thanks

Great product
This is an amazing product it does take a while to get it set up because you have to heat it up every 30 mins for 7 hours to gwt ot set up and ready to cook food on!

Love this!
I can’t say how much I love cooking steaks on this. I just throw it in the oven for and get it hot then just place a thawed steak on it and give it a flip after a few minutes and they always come out with amazing flavor.

Cracked and broken upon arrival
This product arrived well in a box, but the block was thoroughly cracked and a huge chunk of salt was broken off. When I went to return or replace it, it would not allow me to do so.
