RC5117 TV Remote Control Replacement for Hitachi JVC Bush Finlux

I bought this remote control as a replacement for a bush smart tv remote control that had stopped working; I was really pleased with it to begin with, the control buttons on it are identical to the previous remote, and I just stuck some batteries (AAA) in the back and it worked straight away, no set-up needed on the tv. However, since using it a bit, I have discovered the home button, and the Prime video button on it don’t work; when you press the home button it takes you to settings, and the prime button doesn’t work at all. To work around it, I have been switching the tv on and off via the remote, you can then navigate to the prime video from the home bar that appears at the bottom of the screen when you first switch on the tv. Kind of what I expected for the price, but it might be worth spending a little bit more to get a remote that works 100% as expected rather than 80%. Ok, but not like for like, which I had thought I was getting.

I purchased the 'no set up - compatible with bush' universal TV remote as a replacement for the bush remote that had packed up. There is no set up simply because the unit does not work. Complete and utter waste of money. It doesn't work at all. I suppose the motto is buy cheap - buy twice.

Does exactly what it says it can, only one thing I can't find the sauce button but that is just me, I will find out how to get the dvd player on. But this universal remote is very good quality and value for money very pleased

Bought this for a Polaroid TV and it works perfectly well. Very easy to use and a good price
