Great cable
This cable provides a very clear and accurate sound for my guitar. No noise or hum, just sound clarity; professional quality. However, I am purchasing the ultra expensive platinum cable because I hear such a difference in larger gauge cables...personal preference. I am an obsessed with sound musician with a recording studio. I recommend this cable over the monster pro series for sound quality.

Top Notch assembly but typically overpriced
Like a lot of musicians gear, particularly “electric” musicians, the price good quality accessories whether it be amps, pedals or cords, is dramatically inflated in my mind. Now I will say that the cord uses top notch components and is assembled very well no performance issues whatsoever. The gold connectors were not so much the driving point for me but more the way the connectors were fused to the cable itself. If I really wanted to annoy myself I try to dig up the manufactures actual cost and calculate the profit. Regardless, despite the price of this series, the cord is well built and I’ve no doubt it will perform well for many years.

Excellent
As important as a guitar cable is I feel that these are worth the extra cost. This is a high quality cable that is very well made out of quality parts.Feels good as far as the flexibility and durability.Sounds good, even though I would expect any cable to sound good. My ears don't hear the difference from one cable to the next. :)I'm sure this cable will last a long time and that makes it worth the cost.

Works great. Subtle tones get to the amp.

Best Cable I Have Found
I had no idea the difference a premium cable could make until I purchased this Mogami Gold INSTRUMENT-18R Guitar Instrument Cable. I thought the constant low level "hum" of my previous cable was just feedback from my single coil pick-ups. I was wrong - it was the cable! I was skeptical of spending this much for a guitar cable, but it was definitely worth the money!

The cheapest rig upgrade I ever made
Upgrade your guitar, pedals, and amp for only US$60.00! My cable arrived yesterday and when I tried it out, EVERYTHING sounded better! Even my dead strings came to life!Think of this cable as revealing more clearly what your sort of hear in your current set-up in the same way as the the restored Sistine Chapel ceiling reveals in brilliant color what was lurking beneath centuries of murk.I heard one of these cables in a local guitar shop when the owner and I were testing out a 2x10 cabinet that he helped me put together. I could not believe the difference between the Mogami and the other two cables we tried first! "I gotta get me some of that!"After years of Fender California, Planet Waves, and Fairlane cables, Mogami has just blown me away!I ordered to 10' Mogami cables as outputs for my boards -- after spending all that money on amps, pedals, boards, and so on, scrimping on cables is NOT the thing to do!

The Truth About Expensive Cables
What I've found over time using tons of different cables is that honestly, your instrument's tone is not significantly impacted by the brand of cable you use. There are a lot of articles / videos you can google about this now too, cable shootouts where the difference between $10 and $100 cables is shown to be mostly imperceptible. What certainly does matter regardless of brand, is length. And most players know that the shorter the better to avoid tone suck. However, Albert Collins wandering around a club with a 100 ft. cable, melting faces would beg to differ...All that said, I have been spending extra to use Mogamis for years (not just for guitar, xlrs too). But its NOT because that they provide some tonal magic that you can't get from a much cheaper option. The reason is build quality & consistency, durability, and dependability. You might get the same sound from a $20 cable at least at first, but that one is going to be MUCH more likely at some point to allow interference, have failed wiring, or just downright fall apart. And having a cable fail at a gig (or anytime) sucks, no thanks.I have never ever had even the smallest issue with one of my Mogamis, even the ones that are 10+ years old. They just keep going and going, they even still look and feel great if that matters to you.To me, that is sooo worth it. Buy one nice cable for life instead of 5 cheap ones I say.
