Edit: I have had this dog bed for a few weeks now and I have to say that it’s not possible for my dogs to get up the stairs. I have 4 small dogs all under 17lbs. The stairs are too steep and they cannot climb up or down. I’m scared they will try to jump from the top bunk if I help them into the top bunk. The stairs really should be a ramp. It’s quite disappointing that none of my dogs can use the top bunk safely. What a waste of such a huge amount of money.Easy assembly, and very large. Cushions need to be larger though as there are gaps. I think a baby cushion for a crib might fit better, but for this price cushions should at least fill the bottom. Also the stairs are slippery and my pets have trouble climbing to the top. I purchased some friction tape to give them something to grip so they don’t slip climbing up or down.
