This is really convenient but using the sponge instead of a brush is a little different.

Update: The seller contacted me, and they refunded the amount. They said I'd got the damaged/defective product somehow. Thank you!The amount is not understandable, twisting twisting and there is nothing, only small amount comes up and there is the sponge absorbing all of it. Contacted the seller, no reply. I took the sponge off, and twisted again, nothing comes. Made it upside down, still nothing. I only gave 2 stars because the color is what I wanted, true to color, and stays perfectly on the skin. I wish they fix the amount.

There are a lot of reviews here about how the pump on this doesn’t work, but I was hoping I’d get a good one. Nope. My pump doesn’t work, either. Not even a bit. It was a cool idea, but with that high of a failure rate, they should pull it from the market!I was able to get a little bit out by flicking the bottle like ketchup. The makeup itself is okay, but I ordered Ivory, and it’s really a bit too dark for me. If the pump had worked, I probably would have used the makeup (sparingly, and maybe waiting until summer), but I wouldn’t have bought it again. As it is, with the defective pump, I’m sending this back.

I usually use color 320 in the colorstay presentation, I was concerned that the colors look different in the bottle, but I still bought color 320 and it turns out quite well. I did a hand test applying the two products and they look almost identical. It has a system of turning at the base of the bottle so that the product comes out, the product comes out through the hole in the center of the sponge. The sponge is something I don't like very much because it can pick up dirt and it can't be cleaned. On the face it feels light and doesn't look bad at all, I hope it turns out as good as the colorstay....Update: When I tried the product on my hand it looks the same as what I used before, but when applying it on my face is different in tone, it seemed to me that the tone is just a little pinker than Colorstay 320. Important, I liked the light consistency and good coverage, I have freckles and dark sports, it matches the tone well without the makeup looking exaggerated. It feels good on the skin, it is not heavy. I didn't notice any particular smell, that's good because I don't like strong smelling cosmetics. So far, the experience is good. I have posted pictures of my skin without makeup and with makeup, hope it helps (buying makeup online can be overwhelming)

So, I purchased this a while ago. When I read reviews prior to purchasing. Some stated that the foundation was hard to get out and so, they had to throw it out. The first purchased for me and due to those comments. I thought that was happening to me. I couldn't get the foundation to rise up from the sponge. Omg, the bottom of the container twists. You just have to twist the bottom and there you go. It's good foundation. Applies well. Lasts all day and the coverage is great. I would recommend.

This foundation was a bit lighter than it appeared online - it looks slightly chalky in areas on my skin. Btw, I have a medium-brown complexion (think Meagan Goode's normal adult complexion). But in other areas the color goes on fine; it's just too light. The cap is tricky - you twist to bring up the product and too much comes out. I was uncomfortable using the cushion on my face for this reason. I would have looked too made up, especially because this product is a matte-type. Just be careful with the color-typing.

Update: the twister mechanism broke and won’t dispense any product, and I cannot get the thing to come apart so that I can just manually get to the product. So now it is totally unusable. Sad because the formula is good! Turned out to be a total waste of money; I’m glad I didn’t spend more than I did.So, I really like this product although the sponge can be a bit messy. It does have a more matte finish than I was expecting, but I mix in a little bit of liquid highlighter (Elf Halo Glow) to make it a little less flat. One thing to note: it dries down quick! I actually like this, as I feel it lasts longer because of this, but you have to work quickly. I normally dot my foundation all over my face and then blend with a brush or sponge, but I recommend only doing half your face at a time; if you don’t, you may find it’s more difficult to work with.
