Duracell Durabeam Ultra LED Flashlight 1000 Lumens

I love this flashlight.It may be a little more expensive than some on the web, but it is worth it.This one flashlight will light up the entire room you are in and the base of it is big enough so you can place it on a table and it will stand up on its own.I don't even think Duracell lists this as a "Bonus" for this particular model, but to me, this is a tremendous selling point and a game changer.I have often found myself searching for a glass or cup or vase to prop up a flashlight during a power outage.We live in Texas and we have our share of power outages from tornados to hurricanes and It is a must for home use.Get a few ordered now before Christmas and the holidays roll around for a great gift or stocking stuffer or a great birthday present for someone who has everything.These are also great for a dorm room setting or apartments too.

This is not the first time I've bought this flashlight, as the light is so bright and it could double as a club if needed. It is expensive, but the best one I've found otherwise.

This is a very, very powerful flashlight. Very well made and very sturdy. I purchased two of them.

When the earthquakes rocked California we wanted to be prepared and had purchased this flashlight years prior because it was recommended to us a durable and bright flashlight. We now have 3 of them all throughout the house. They’re extremely bright and there’s a couple of different settings (strobe, etc) that ads an extra bonus.

I bought this after previously buying the two pack of the 700 flashlights. I thought that they were very good. So I thought that this would be even better. The light from this seems brighter, but not a huge amount, and the color is much whiter. This is pretty bright and would definitely dazzle someone across a dark living room. The biggest drawback is the less common C cell batterjes. Overall this is a very good flashlight.

Update. We put new batteries in the one that didn’t work, hoping the batteries shipped with it were the problem. They weren’t, but now, not wanting to return a product unless it really didn’t work, they won’t take it back as it is beyond the 30 days. Very poor customer service given the product is defective. I get burned, and burned through an additional set of batteries...We bought 2. One is fantastic the other, the batteries drained and it wasn’t working a week later. Will put in new batteries and update what happens. Hoping that is it and not a malfunction in what seems to be a great light.

This is a very powerful flashlight, I use it on Disaster Action Team responses for Red Cross. I have to work fire scenes that are very dark, and dangerous. This flashlight makes my job safer and easier. I have a smaller Duracell of the same design, which I find strong and durable. I have had many of the tactical lights that just do not hold up, like this one does.
