Rewire of old aluminum wires.
These wirenuts with the ox-grease built in are not cheap but worth every penny when you gotta update the wiring in your house. Big safety upgrade.

These aluminum to copper wire connectors worked well. I’ve used quite a few and didn’t have any issues or problems with any of them.

These work well on a project that someone put cooper and aluminum wires together. They are expensive but cheaper here than local suppler.

GREAT FOR CORRECTING ALUMINUM ROMEX "ISSUE"
IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE ONE OFF, THE GRAY ANTI-OXIDENT IS EVERYWHERE. MY DAUGHTERS CONDO WAS WIRED WITH ALUMINUM ROMEX (1970`S). OVER THE YEARS RECEPTACLES HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH ONES NOT RATED FOR ALUMINUM (HEAT ISSUES). I AM USING THESE TO CONNECT COPPER "TAILS" TO THE ALUMINUM WIRE & REPLACING THE SWITCHES & RECEPTACLES WITH NEW ONES. THE SCREW TYPE CONNECTORS ARE "CLEANER" BUT USE MORE SPACE IN THE BOX
