Been using the refrigerator for more than 6 months now, very quiet and energy efficient. Best feature is the convertible freezer and Samsung SmartThing to control remotely. Enough storage for a family of 4 to 5 members.

They dragged the refrigerator all along and finally handed it to us with a big dent on the side. Really poor delivery service.

It’s one of the best refrigerator out in the market for grab. It’s silent, powerful and comes with ample of storage compartments. Only miss for me was ice cube holder, it was there in my earlier SBS Samsung refrigerator so I kind of miss it.Good delivery experience, installation happens in 24-48 hour so if you are exchanging your refrigerator be aware of it. Same day installation can be nice.

I decided to purchase this refrigerator.Reasons for selection:1. Read about a good after sales service.2. known brand.3. 2024 model. (this was the mistake)4. got it for a very good price.5. wifi connectivity.6. had a long time desire to own a side by side fridge7. needed more storage space.Result- Mixed emotionswhy? -1. For all those planning to buy this model. Consider yourself lucky to interact with the customer service on a regular basis to experience the after sales service first hand.2. They are nice people. but the product itself has a defect. the Right door pivot is not correctly aligned or has a manufacturing defect.3. while the replacement is underway for the door the nagging thudding sound keeps you awake at night with the thought about what it could be.4. The performance is amazing. No doubt in that.5. Every time I swung open the right door it would go "thud" at a point and then again another "thud" while closing.6. I called up amazon customer support and they did their job as expected because there is a boundary they cannot exceed and I respect that.7. Called the Amazon support twice. the reps were very kind and good to interact with. They tried their best to get the brand technician to come over to my place. The even tried to get me the replacement, unfortunately or fortunately for others who are planning to buy it. the seller ran out of stock so only return option was available. Which left me at a loss as the price I bought it in is no longer available.8. twice no technician came.9. I called up the brand hotline directly for support and was informed that the sound was due to the ice melting. I asked, only when I open the door the ice melts and the sound comes is it? but why is the ice not melting when I open the left door.(sarcasm intended), the call centre rep committed to sending the technician.10. finally the technician came. again a very nice gentleman. (seriously)11 the truth was revealed!- the 2024 model has a technical defect. because of the way the door is designed to sit on the pivot.12. replacement of the door is underway and might take a month.So conclusion: If you are ok with the "thudding" sound and can wait for the replacement then go for this piece.Hint: call within the replacement window to avail the benefit of the good after sales experience.6th October 2024:So an update for everyone. I got the complete refrigerator replacement, under warranty because the door was not available , sometime back. It was good for a while, now the problem has restarted. DON'T BUY THIS RUBBISH.27th Oct 2024So the technician came and finally the issue was fixed. The issue was a loose screw under the door. The noise has stopped and so for the trouble caused so far I feel the rating could be increased because of the refrigerator's performance.Would I recommend it now, maybe.
