Very nice comfy mattress!
This is a very nice blow up mattress that my grandsons thought would be a great place to sleep. They thought the pillow was a very smart idea. I totally agree too. The only problem is that I ordered the 20 inch height and we received the 16 inch. So I called the company and spoke with a very nice young man named Kevin who apologized for the inconvenience and said they would refund my money. He had me go to the website and order another one so that is what I did and hopefully that one will be the height as it really is a nice mattress that my grandsons said was very comfortable. I had bought a twin size Intex brand blow up mattress and our grands said it was not very comfortable to sleep on. I had another blow up mattress that we used for 17 years until it got a rip in it. I’ve done a lot of research by reading reviews on different brands and this is the one that had the best reviews that were consistent with one another. After speaking to customer service I am even more impressed with this company and know I made the best decision on choosing this one out of the seven I was leaning towards to buy. These days great customer service is hard to come by it seems but this company is top notch as far as I am concerned. You will not be disappointed as it’s an easy set up and take down. There were no leaks and it didn’t need to have any more air added the following day. The velour top is very nice plus the cord storage is so handy. I watched so many videos for hours and that is why I chose this brand as I saw the other ones leaking or hissing with the auto refill to keep it aired up. No one wants to hear that when you have guests sleeping on it and it keeps you awake from refilling during the night. The bag is a nice way to keeps your mattress in and carry it to where you store it. King Koil for the win for me. I can’t wait to get the mattress in for the correct height we need.

The Worst Bed EVER!!!! BEST AFTER SERVICE EVER!!!!!
I had a very bad experience with my King Koil Bed but when I contacted them, they went way out of their way to make me happy. They sent me a brand new bed in no time at all. I didn’t have to go the trouble of sending the old leaky one back either. They were super apologetic and after a year of replacement they called me to see how my bed is. I used it a few times since the trail ride and it was just fine. I used it for guests to sleep on. There were no complaints. I will be doing the same trail ride again at the end of the month. I am pretty sure that I won’t have the same problems as what I had last year. I would recommend King Koil for their super customer service. The beds are very very comfortable and if there is a problem contact them and they will most definitely take care of ur complaints pronto. I am thinking that the customer service is more important than the product. So if ur looking for a very comfy air bed that’s easy to climb in and out of, give them a try. I highly recommend King Koil. They treated me like roayalty. This had to be the worst purchase that I have ever made through Amazon. I am so disappointed. I replaced a queen size airbed to use in my tent when I went on my over night trail rides. My queen size was excellent but it took up too much room so I was delighted when this thing was delivered. I did everything that the instructions told me to do, I filled it, which was super slick. I left it up for a couple of days like they suggested so it could stretch. They said that it would go a bit soft, which it did. I did not lay on it at all, just left it and then deflated it and packed it away for my week long trail ride and camp out. I packed it in my vehicle and was super excited to get it out of the bag and filled it up while in my tent. I used an extension cord and my inverter. It filled beautifully. I put a foam pad and a huge and thick comforter under it because of previous experiences with airbeds in tents. The air in the bed gets extremely cold if you don't put it on top of something to insulate it against the cold ground. I put a queen size fitted sheet on it and then my feather down sleeping bag covering myself with a feather comforter. It was so comfortable, until the morning. It had gone very soft. No problem, the instructions said that this might happen. I accepted it. As the week wore on, this bed got worse and worse. I had to fill it twice, once in the day and then before I went to bed, it was still very very soft in the morning. I wasn't getting any sleep at all and I was extremely stiff from the way that it had me encapsulated. I felt like a sausage in a bun. The very last night and the 6th night of my ride, was just the worst. I hadn't been able to sleep on this horrid thing, it was getting worse and worse. I needed my sleep (riding horses for 8 hours a day). Just before I went to bed, I filled it AGAIN.. it was firm and very comfy. At 3 am, my feet were way up in the air and my head was on the ground. It had lost pretty much all of its air. I was in tears, I gathered up all of my blankets and went to my SUV to see if I could get some sleep. No good, it was totally against the reason I am in a tent. It was so uncomfortable, andI need to see and hear the horses through the night. Back to the tent I went, pushed the totally deflated KING KOIL MATTRESS to the side and slept on top of the foam and comforters. I finally got some sleep. I am so frustrated!!! I want my money back and I never want to see this thing again.. I did my research.. this was supposed to be just awesome.. well, its total junk and I am now going to contact the company.. If I could give it no stars, I would.. I am so tired.. and my vacation/trail ride was ruined

Every Night For Two Years
I slept on this mattress every night for two years and three months (Nov. 2020 - Dec. 2022 then again Feb. 2024 - April 2024). About to order another one, as I recently had to roll it up for good. I believe an error on my end caused it to develop a bulge and leak air, not a mattress defect. Basically, with it lasting so long, I got over-confident and over-inflated it a couple of times, maybe three. As my main bed, i have a lot of praise for this puppy, and really only three drawbacks, one of which is just the nature of an air mattress. Lets start with the drawbacks:1) When it began to leak air, I called customer service for technical assistance to troubleshoot the leak. Well, the guy refused to continue speaking or even listen to me since my mattress was out of warranty.So…hmmm. But, if the mattress was in warranty, I’m sure their customer service is perfectly fine. I assume this because they do have a fine product and probably stand behind its quality. That’s just good business unlike the customer service I received.2) Air mattresses naturally have these pocket dips, if you will. Because I didn’t want to purchase a mattress topper, I just padded it with my spare comforter. Worked pretty darn well!3) biggest drawback and keep in mind, I purchased mine Nov. 2020, so this feature may not be on the mattress now in Aug. 2024. Idk. But…It had this large hump to keep your pillow from slipping off the edge and onto the floor. Great idea. But my queen fitted sheet wouldn’t fit on the mattress due to this hump. Not even close. I had to buy a king fitted sheet. Now, this ended up being a good thing because the king fitted sheet covered both sides (not ends, just sides) of the bed all the way down to the floor. This protected the siding a bit in my opinion.Another unexpected “this-is-ok” about the hump was that it somewhat felt…headboard-ish…which is nice if you’re used to a normal bed frame and mattress.Let’s move to the good stuff:1) I like a firm mattress. Check - it is a very comfortable firm.2) I sleep in all positions, but mainly a side sleeper. Check. Support was good for my lower back. Shoulder did not hurt in the morning. Lower back would hurt occasionally if I slept on my back too much, but for me…that’s the norm no matter what mattress I sleep on. When I flip onto my stomach, it’s comfy due to the mattress having just enough give. Keep in mind, I also padded it a bit with a comforter under my fitted sheet.3) For the first 2-3 weeks of owning it, I had to add about 5 seconds of air to it every 5-7 nights…probably due to it adjusting to its shape and newness. After that, I’d add maybe 5 seconds worth of air every 2-3 weeks. No biggie. But it was important not to add too much and overinflated. I was very careful about this…up until I got complacent and went beyond 10 seconds in one go (which as I said earlier, I think that’s why it developed a bulge and therefore a leak that I could never find.).4) All sides are flocked. My fitted sheet would rise up a bit, but not too bad. I’m guessing if the sides where the smooth type, they would have risen up a lot.5) the edges didn’t sink a whole lot. When they began to get a bit squishy, that’s when I knew my mattress needed an air top-off of about 5 seconds.6) So as to not over-inflate and ruin my mattress, I felt the mattress after 5 seconds when I’d top it off. This was usually enough. It fills up quickly. If you need to go beyond 5 seconds, I recommend doing so in 3 second intervals after those first 5 seconds. Remember, once it reaches firm, it’s at capacity and you must stop. Continuing to fill it could bust the inside coils.7) Thickness: it’s 20” off the ground. I’m a 125 lb; 5 foot, three inch female. Not too shabby to get out of bed comfortably.8) It really has a lovely, elegant appearance. With sheets on, no one knows that, but still…it does speak to the care put into the product from the manufacturer.9) the bag is nice. I used it twice in the two+ years of this being my only bed. I made the bed fit in there again, after two attempts to roll it to bag size.10) It will sleep two people just like a traditional queen mattress. My feet sometimes hung off the end just a bit, but I also tend to sleep low in a bed (head not all the way at top). The hump at the top takes up some of the length, so if you’re a 6 foot+ dude, your feet may hang off a bit if you’re stretched out, but it’s really a small issue with how nice the bed is.So, my bed finally pooped out, but again, I think it was my own error. I was really happy with my bed and bummed when it bit the dust, so… I’m going to give these folks my business again and order a new one. I bet I’ll get another 2-3 years out of it.
