I used this to fix the dreaded pcv valve whine on my S55 M4. I figured if it didn’t work I’d do the whole valve cover, but might as well try the fast/cheap way first. It worked! Watch the YouTube videos. It’s very easy. Take your time and do it right.

I'd still recommend trying this before going to replace the whole valve cover. Looks like it's a mixed bag if this will work. Hopefully your one of the lucky ones.It's well made, so I don't think it's a quality of the part issue. It looks identical to the stock part.

Replaced The PCV Valve on the Bmw m4 S55 engine, great fitment applied JB weld let it dry for about 40mins. Placed a heavy object(20lbs) on top to keep the cap flushed... Saved $800.00 for a valve cover replacement. Its been a week no squealing sounds Thanks .

This worked and saved me several hundreds!

Noticed squealing from the engine bay and would go away when I would open the oil filler cap. Didn’t want to go to the dealership and pay a lot of money for an entire valve cover plus labor. Take your time and go step by step with online videos. The PCV valve is built into the valve cover so be careful. This part fixed my issue for $30, very happy thank you

100% Recommend giving this part a try before replacing the valve cover entirely. If you’re like me, and have an S55 out of warranty with the PCV squeal, this part was a life saver before having to replace the entire valve cover.
