Solid bow with a lot of great kit
I've shot over 5000 arrows with this bow. It's just great. The string came slightly waxed and after about a month of daily usage I waxed it which greatly increased speed, the ease of draw, & dampened the sound a little. I've traveled with this takedown bow and the set up takes < 5 minutes.Initially I wasn't going to use the little super rest that came with it, but decided to & it's held up the entire time surprisingly.Of course being a beginner I was mostly drawn to the appearance & price which is both beautiful & affordable. You can't really beat this kit. The arrows are even quite good & have lasted although many of the vanes have holes in them now. For comfort its got some vibration to it, but the riser is so smooth it feels great in the hand. The performance of this bow is great & I don't think anyone would have a problem with this kit. The only problem was I couldn't wait for it to get here which took roughly a week of anticipation

Excellent learning now with room to grow, great accessories
The quality of the bow and accessories is incredible for the price. I got the archery big after buying my son a Genesis youth compound for Christmas and this recurve came recommended by friends. I'm a big guy and fairly strong, glad I started with 26lbs draw to learn the basics. About 200 arrows through this now across 3 sessions.Arrows are nice, but I bought a 68" bow due to 29.5 draw length and 30" arrows are too short.String nock was set at the correct spot and all the accessories just work. Quiver is nice, finger guard is great, haven't tried the sight yet, rest works really well.Negative: instructions are useless. I'm a beginner and the stringing tool took more effort to learn to how use than I am comfortable admitting, lol. It also was tied together and in untying it I accidentally untied the knot for the top limb loop. Easy to fix with some knot research. The tool itself takes some experience, step on the tool rope with both feet, one directly under the rubber stringer stop on the top limb. This keeps the rubber stop from sliding down while putting tension on the bow to loop the strong on the end.I wish Sanlida sold more parts. Would like to buy the excellent quiver for my son as well as spare bow strings and heavier weight limbs down the road.As it is, support feels fairly light from their website, but for the price ... Still worth it.This kit does not include a wrist guard, definitely pick one up, string slap at 26lbs is bruising unlike the tickle ofrom my my son's 10lb youth Genesis compound.Overall I would not only recommend buying this, I am planning on buying another for the heavier weight limbs down the road. This bow works, is well designed as a package, the accessories in the kit don't actually suck and the value is incredible.Plus it's not bad to look at.

Very Nice Bow
I am an archery instructor and needed a recurve bow for practice and also demonstration when I'm teaching and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I am a small person (4' 10"), so the youth sized bow with the 18 lb. draw weight is perfect for me. I liked that this set came with the accessories that I can not only show to my classes but also learn to use myself. It was nice to have all of these accessories included because I would have spent more money buying them separately. The sight and arrow rests are not top quality, but they are functional. I actually decided to purchase a nicer arrow rest because I don't like the stick-on kind. One of my reasons for buying this bow was that it has the pre-drilled holes to add arrow rests and sights if needed. The wood is very nice and very pretty. The limbs are also very nice and I like that they have the hand-screw bolts and not the kind you have to turn with an allen wrench (another reason I chose this bow over others). It comes with arrows that have screw-in tips which is nice if you need to replace them or change them out. It also comes with a very nice quiver with a belt strap. If you are just looking for a starter bow for a kid or for a smaller adult, this is a good one. If you are a more serious archer, this is a nice bow for a reasonable price, but you might rather go for a more expensive option.

Completely fine as a starter bow
Came all ready to go with reasonable instructions and decent components. Arrows aren't well matched to the bow but they'll work to get you started. This is a good bow to start out with. Just be sure to watch some YouTube videos or something to learn about how to get it set up and how to start shooting as a beginner. There's a lot of good stuff out there. Something that doesn't come with the instructions: make sure to twist the string until the distance between the string and the grip (when the bow is strung) matches the recommended distance on their website. Might take 50-70 twists. This really improves the feel of the bow.

Perfect for beginners
The media could not be loaded. I've shot a bow probably 4 times. Shot 4 arrows total in my life before I bought this bow. I've had it for less than a week and after practicing for about 45 minutes for a few nights, I hit my first bullseye with this bow from about 20 yards away. It's ease of use is amazing and it's quality is great for the price. It'd be a perfect bow for someone interested in getting into archery. With a 32 lb pull string, it launches arrows at an average speed. Weight is perfect, lightweight and easy to pull. I tried using the sight that came as an accessory but took it off later to find I was a better shot without it. The quiver is durable and built to last. Would highly recommend to anyone who's a beginner looking for their first bow

Great first longbow
This longbow looks beautiful. Kit comes with everything you need to get started shooting. Yeah the target isnt great but thats not why i bought the bow. The functions exactly as it should. I have had tons of fun. shooting with my boys. The bow is very easy to assemble and setup. Weight is great and i can shoot for a long time without becoming fatigued. Bow shoots well overall and I believe any issues with shooting at this point are just because I haven't shot since I was a kid.
