Great Start for Music
We bought two for my kids for Christmas (2 and 5 year old) and they LOVE them. The 2 year old has mostly just played around learning to hold and strum it correctly, but my 5 year old is learning to play some songs. Easy to tune and music book simple to read/use. Highly recommend.

Mostly toy not guitar
Not a good guitar to learn on but perfect for a 2 year old niece. Hopefully it inspires her to want to learn.

Great intro to learning guitar
I bought this for my 6.5 year old daughter. She loves music and I thought it could give her a taste of learning to play guitar. It’s well made and adorable. The booklet that comes with it is phenomenal. It’s simple enough for a child (maybe not as young as 3-4, but gives a kid the ability to easily learn songs they’re familiar with. She eventually asked to take “real” guitar lessons and has had great success. The TinkerTar gave her a solid foundation to begin with and was a great investment to see if learning the guitar was truly something she had a desire for.
