ColdPruf men's leggings for cold weather are perfect whether worn on their own or as a base, mid, or outer layer. Our Platinum II two-layer thermals for men have been specifically engineered with ColdPruf technology that traps air between layers of fabric to provide a natural warmth shield. Our men’s thermal pants offer the desired level of warmth and comfort in very cold to extremely cold weather conditions during mid- to high-exertion activities. Nature's natural warmth fiber, merino wool, is blended with polyester on the outside and combined with CPT Performance polyester on the inside to provide maximum warmth, dryness, and comfort while helping with fabric odor control. The ColdPruf Base Layer product line has been developed for comfort in all cold weather environments, whether at home, on the job, or enjoying the outdoors.

Outstanding value and quality
I have several pairs of these for snowboarding and I love them. Soft, warm, comfortable and don't get soggy even when I'm really working the trees or deep powder. I would say size wise they are right where they should be. I'm a 34" waist with very large legs and the medium is form fitting and close to the skin but not uncomfortably so and I like a close fitting base layer.

Great product, bought a second one too
6'3" and bought LT, like it a bit loose for riding motorcycle. Good length from bottom of crotch to top of waistband to not expose skin when sitting.

Merlino wool is the best!
I first bought these for a trip to upper Michigan in January and they saved my life, or at least may the cold more bearable. As I got older I realized that these would be nice to have on some of the cold days in Texas where I live. I’ve used them for 3 years and now I have 4 pair. They have nice tight cuffs at the bottom and are generous in length but are a little baggy, they might be warmer if they could hold closer to the skin. However, the are really nice when waiting for a bus on a cold, windy winter’s morning.

These are warm!
These are a must have to wear to work in the cold. This wool blend feels much better as a base layer than those spandex based base layers that the other companies have. I have used these for years and have kept them for a couple of seasons without too much wear and tear 7

Best for the buck. PERIOD
Best insulated underwear for the money out there PERIOD. Can not beat this poly-pro insulating and moisture wicking inner layer keeping you dry and warm and insulating qualities of the wool outer layer for a great combination to keep you warm and dry in frigid temps. No doubt in my mind best insulating underwear for the money you can buy.I wouldn't have bought almost $400 worth if I had any doubts.

Strange fit: Very baggy at the butt and crotch
These are a good base layer, but they have a very weird fit. The ankles are snug and not very stretchy, so they are hard to get pulled over my feet. They fit against the skin up to the mid-thigh, where they balloon out around the butt and crotch. You could probably wear boxer shorts under these without any compression on the underwear. Baggy fit near the waist is a common fit problem with long underwear, but these are probably the worst I've seen. These are probably my last pair of normal long underwear -- I think I will just wear running tights as long underwear in the future.
