Wonderful Figure
I'm happy with my Astro mega-ship. It's very detailed and accurate.

Hubby loves it but it's a little stiff and difficult to transform

$180 collectible with the lousy quality control of a $10 figure
There's no question the AstroMegazord is the best Megazord there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be lol, but this has the same kind of low quality paint job found on Hasbro's cheapest figures.Hasbro wants almost $200 after tax and retailer markups for this thing, but they can't be arsed enough to make sure the lines are painted straight, that there are no goopy paint applications, etc. It's already a bit embarrassing to try and justify this purchase to your partner, it gets even worse when they see you spent so much on a poorly made toy, not a good quality collectible. Not only that, the cardboard inserts holding everything in place are weak, you can expect them to be crushed by the weight of the ship itself, as it gets bashed around in transit to you. It can totally look like you're getting a used toy even though it's supposed to be new.Okay, assuming you get a good one and it gets to you in one piece, this is a sweet package, it looks good from any angle. The AstroMegazord itself has chrome accents and transforms fairly easily into either robot or ship mode. It has extra hands made of soft PVC so they can grip the harder plastic weapons without breaking. And it's covered in details, lots of panel lines and greeble. The head/shuttle has the team of In Space Power Rangers molded in there, and so does the main ship, under the chest/bridge. A set of tiny Power Rangers miniatures are also included, but they're poorly molded and painted.Overall this AstroMegazord is a mixed bag of cool space robot and hot steaming crud. And despite this, I'd STILL like to see a Delta Megazord and Mega Winger in this line! This is a cool toy, but Hasbro has to address the poor quality control.

Nostalgia
I had this exact megazord when I was a kid. My dad got it for me who has since passed. I don’t have it anymore mom gave it away when zi was a teen. Crazy how much this thing is worth now. It was such a fun megazord. If I remember right the chest lights up and makes noise, unless this is one that doesn’t have that feature. I really liked the little space shuttle head and was always a fan of power rangers in space so it’s neat seeing this again

This is actually great!
I ignored the ZAP line after the issues from the MMPR megazord. This thing is LEAGUES above that one. It is larger, all the joints are tight (probably a little too tight), no weird engineering oversights like in the MMPR one. Still never understood how the floppy thigh flap things made it past phase one on the MMPR megazord. It was basically a worse Legacy Megazord cuz it can't even hold it's own weight to stand up. The Astro Megazord is ACTUALLY puts the "Ascension" in the Zord Ascension Project. If you got burned on the MMPR megazord i like did, give this one a chance. It is much much much improved! This would be a perfect 5 stars, but the hip ratchets are so tight that i feel like they might break sooner than they should. Otherwise, it is a perfect representation of the Astro Megazord.
