Impressive product for professionals
I was so impressed with the Deros 5” from a previous project that I decided to splurge on this item for future detail work. I’ve found it really useful with architectural projects that require precise control and correction. Really quiet operation, I like having control over the speed with the trigger, and the battery life is really impressive. I had reservations upon discovery that this product is made in China, not Finland, but it really is a beautiful product backed by impressive performance and premium build quality. I can’t say if it’s worth the $700 (price at time of my purchase), but it’s exactly what I was expecting for the price point: the best detail sander money can buy.

Perfect for small projects
This sander makes light work sanding down bowls and small projects that bigger sanders can’t get to. I can now sand down ashtray bowls in a fraction of the time rather than hand sanding.
