By far best team and product after much Research and then experience.
I originally wrote 1 star as I needed to extract some faulty screws. I needed to wait for an extraction kit to arrive (which I needed anyway). The team was not only awesome at de-escalation, they were sincerely the best team I have ever worked with.It gets better. They are not only sending new screws, but also sending a replacement case. That was unwarranted (but greatly appreciated). They simply sent it out when I asked them for the screws size.As for the product. It works as described. All four slots AND it has no unexpected bottlenecks. It feels like it is blazing fast even on a gaming PC.Be sure to utilize both the four PCIE4x4 3200MBPS ports and Thunderbolt USB port to its fullest.I spent a ton of time researching the best specs for an external drive. This pushes the boundaries for PCIE4 m.2 2280 FF, FOUR slots, Speed and Thunderbolt as any out there.Top products and top team.

Faulty design -- fans fail and damage NVME drives. Bad customer service.
I owned this device for about 8 months, and after about 4 months it began making fan noises. I did not realize, however, when the fan failed entirely and the unit just proceeded to essentially bake my drives. These are top of the line NVME drives, SanDisk Pro drives. One 2TB and one 4TB drive failed entirely before I realized there was a problem. The unit seems well-built for sure, but if the fans are subpar then the build quality is moot. Because obviously I've lost about $600 in hardware costs in the drives alone, not to mention the data stored within. Happily it was backed up but if it weren't, it would be myself to blame. The unit does NOT power on automatically when the host is powered on, instead requiring a manual power on. It does power off when the host powers off so it's definitely another annoyance with this unit. I would highly recommend using the newer version of this, if you choose to use Trebleet at all. The second half of this review is in regards to handling of customer service. I contacted the manufacturer regarding this failure and they said they could replace it if I shipped back to them in China. They asked for my Amazon invoice ahead of time, which I provided. Then they gave me the address to ship to. I asked if there was any way to get replaced faster, and they said I could place an order on their website and when they received the return they would refund this earlier order. I shipped to them (>$50) and they received it prior to even shipping the expedted new order. Now, over 2 weeks later they say they can't locate the Amazon order so they can't refund it. What? Now they're saying they will ship back the defective unit to me, and I can spend another $50 to send this new unit to them. Not to mention this new unit was missing screws, the power button, and has scratches all over it. I'd truly avoid Trebleet, while this unit is a highly capable unit -- with great speeds reaching the boundaries of TB3, it's just not worth the risk involved with product longevity and quality of service. The payment I made on their website went to an individual's name and not a company, so it must be relatively small of a company. Not that small companies can't be great, but it requires some people skills and flexibility with customers. Take all this into account when deciding whether to go with this product or not. If anything changes with their handling of my case I will revise this, but it doesn't appear that's likely to happen. So much of the quality of a product ties in with after-purchase care. That they would even suggest sending me back the same defective unit that I sent them, is pretty insulting. YMMV. Best of luck! --Josh

One of the best products that I have been happy to have purchased
You are probably wondering about the 4 stars. There are TWO reasons for this...#1 - My initial reaction upon receiving the product was concerning what looked like someone had pushed the product into it fitted box leaving small scratches in the metal case, written on top of the manual leaving pen marks and rough edges. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that this had been purchase/used by some other user and returned it. So, I was apprehensive about using it. Before I tried anything, I contact the Vendor and provided all my purchase information and my concerns. They assured me that they would send me a case to replace the one I had received. They did and about a week later, it arrived and was in excellent condition.Trebleet expressed their apology about their product and felt they were bothering me to much and did not want to feel like they were harassing me. I would like to share with you my written response to this."Let me assure that I am EXTREMELY happy with the product. As a result of this, I will continue to watch TREBLEET for new and upgraded products. You are one the vendor that I am VERY satisfied with the workings of yours. Ever since I have started using your products, I have told several others of what you create and how it could help them. The ONLY thing that I questioned upon receiving the product is that while unpacking, it appeared that it had been used before. Evidence of this could be found in the poor appearance of how it was packed (or should say thrown together with ripped cardboard, scratches on outside metal and a manual that was most assuredly paged through and written upon). I appreciate that you have sent me a replacement case which looks TONS better as well as a manual that I consider unread, unused & unwritten upon. I am very much interested in anything that you create in the future that would benefit me here. I am very interested in any improvement that your might find that would provide cooling as I notice that it does stay a bit hot as I trust your development team. In conclusion, that I am entirely satisfied with the two products that I have purchased from you AND the support that you have given me. If you wish, you can use any or all off this message and any way you wish. I am proudly a current AND future customer of yours."Now for the other reason for the 4 stars.#2 - I have noticed that this box, which is fairly small does give off a lot of heat. I do not know how this will affect the 4-4TB Crucial PCIe Gen4 SSD cards that I have in it, but I believe from conversations with Trebleet, they are looking into ways to improve on this and I am looking forward to it.I am running a Mac Studio with only 500GB on it and need the additional storage. Using the original device and the 4x4TB cards, I have created a 16TB RAID 0 drive. I have used Blackmagic Diskspeed app to give me faster read/write speeds then when testing each 4TB card by itself before being configured for RAID.
