National Geographic Bucket List Family Travel: Share the World with Your Kids on 50 Adventures of a Lifetime

I’m travel obsessed and a bucket list family fan so as soon as Jess announced this book was available for preorder I ordered it. It’s insightful and a lovely read but very much from her unique perspective which a lot of us can’t resonate with. It doesn’t feel like it’s been written for an international reader, more like an American women which makes sense since it is written by one. That said you can certainly feel the passion that has gone into it and the love of travel but also the family. The photography is stunning and probably my favourite bit.The parts about the individual places will help me plan my own bucket list. Overall it’s a lovely book to browse and get inspiration.

Of course I love this book as I find the Gees so interesting and inspirational already but Jess has captured all of the information you need with lots of personal information and interestingstories too. This, together with Garret's pictures makes for a very interesting read and is a perfect addition for anyone who is planning family holidays around the world. It was worth the long wait for it to come out! The cover is also a special hardback covered with special material which seems like it will last a long time.

This is so much more than just a beautiful book for the coffee table. Jess has created a book that not only shares some of their incredible adventures over the years but it's packed with SO much advice. I always wondered how they managed to make their trips (well most of them!) look so seamless and now Jess is sharing all of her insider knowledge. So pleased I treated myself to this!

Had this on pre order since the day Jess announced it... I've actually had a few tears reading this, picturing us being in the places this family have been in. The love for travel comes across completely and if the goal is to inspire others, the mission has been achieved. I've found a couple of the recommended hotels don't allow children which wasn't highlighted, but this honestly is such a wonderful book for anyone that needs to hear that you can travel anywhere with your children.
