I am revising my earlier 3 star review up to 5 stars. Earlier I reported that this device did not work in the Photos app on a Mac. Helpful feedback from product support showed me a workaround to make it work. Very small print on the instruction sheet was hard for this senior to read.

Bought a different unit for a cheaper price. It did not work. Found this one, much longer range. Works like it should. Only a few dollars more. I highly recommend it.

This is a good, lightweight alternative to a name brand remote presenter or ‘clicker’. I don’t like it as well as the Logitech R-RB5 I had, which felt better in the hand then this one, but this device gets the job done.We are used to a swipe right/swipe left world, which makes these slide controls seem counterintuitive, but take a look at the PowerPoint deck in my photo. When you see it in editing mode, the up/down controls make some sense. Having them inline creates a super slim profile for this device.I find that this presenter feels a bit cheap because it’s so lightweight, the protective end cap does not snap on (it comes off very easily), and the USB dongle is held in place by a magnet.I’m good with this in the short term as a temporary replacement for a better device. It’s inexpensive and gets the job done.

I hadn't used a clicker before, but I needed one for a presentation. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this handy little clicker pen does a great job! It's easy to use and lightweight. I was also pleased to find it held a charge for a long time. I liked the slim design so that it looked more like a pen than some others I've seen.

Clicker with separate short USB-C to USB-A charging cord (wall plug not included), PC receiver with both USB-A and USB-C plugs (use either one), cap to cover receiver dongle and put clicker in your pocket. Clicker has indicator LED, USB-C charging port, up (^) and down (v) buttons, "tab" (square icon) button, red laser button (*), side volume up/down buttons, and side on/off slider switch. Works fine with PowerPoint for Windows; 1p user guide says it also works with Macs, Android, and Linux. Buttons work differently if tapped, double-tapped, or long-pressed: next/previous slide, screen on/blank, change app (alt-tab), select/open hyperlink. You can also press ^v together to switch modes where ^ and v keys either generate left/right arrow, up/down arrow, or PgUp/PgDn; LED flash speed tells you which mode you choose. Microsoft used to support a remote app that let you see slide notes on your phone, but now that they no longer do, this is my best bet though I miss the slide notes.
