Beefy lock! With loud alarm.
After doing a lot of research I settled on this lock. If I wanted to buy something better I would be spending another $260.00. When I received the lock I realized how flimsy the lock I already had was and this lock was a beast! Came nicely packaged with three keys I immediately tested out the alarm and it was pretty loud. If anybody was messing with the lock and there was anybody around they definitely would turn around to see what all the racket was about. You can tell by the feel of the lock that it's well made it's good and heavy. I purchased this lock, to lock up my new $3200.00 e-bike. I'll feel much better when I'm going in the store that the bike will still be there when I get back, just the look of the lock is enough for a bike thief to look for an easier target. Truth be told if a professional bike thief wants to get your bike they're going to get it, but you have a much better shot with this lock. I think it has more to do on where you leave the bike .You got to leave it in a place that's got plenty of people around and not in the worst block in the city. And try to lock it from the frame at the bottom to a stationary bench or pole that can't be easily removed that won't make it easy for someone with a cutter grinder to try to cut the lock.

Amazing Customer Service
I purchased this lock after someone tried to steal my Vespa scooter. The first lock I received was defective - the alarm went off before I could even get the key out. I wrote to the company and immediately got a response. One of the owners of the company, Paul, responded with some tips on how to set the alarm. When that didn’t work, he agreed the lock was defective and offered to send me a new one.I still don’t have my scooter back from the mechanic, but have tested the replacement lock and it works as intended. I plan to use this every time I lock my scooter from now on! Amazing customer service and a great product!

Seems to work really well!
Very easy to operate. It's very sensitive, so when you go to unlock it, be prepared because it will sound off on you

Great lock and alarm
Bought for our ebikes. Works well on anything you can get it to fit on. Alarm is loud and noticeable and would detour thieves away or get the attention of others

Good choice.
Works as it should. Alarm seems to be good in testing and hopefully long lasting. Comes with extra batteries for the alarm which is great.

Internals are plastic.
Seems fairly sturdy but be careful when the lock is open. The insides are all plastic so when the U portion is open it would be pretty easy to break. When closed and locked it should be pretty secure. Also be careful when changing batteries, the wires from the switch to the alarm portion are tiny and soldered on. I know it is a tiny switch but at least use wire big enough that you can see wire when you strip it. I always hate seeing thread thin wire, it shows it is cutting corners anywhere they can, is that what you want protecting your investment? All that aside, it works. It will slow a theif in the hopes that someone notices them. Would I trust it to protect a $10,000+ bike? No. Do I trust it for my $2k bike? Yes, well enough. Now let's talk value for the money. This costs slightly more than my caliper alarm lock. The build quality is lesser, although it is much larger. It also is not as loud, at least to me, but is advertised as being 10db louder.I plan on using it at home and on long trips to lock the front of my bike cover on. That it should have no issue with. It should go off if anyone messes with the cover, but for putting around town, it will be only the caliper lock/alarm.
