Just amazing little buggy. UPDATEMy 3rd Hyper Go H16Pl.
New to surface but have been flying choppers and planes for 30 years. Love this little buggies. Fast and has weight to hold it down. Well worth the money.Update- After 5 months now. I have bought 3 more now. Keep adding so my friends and I can all race together. They and I just love them. Now they are all buying the Hyper Go H16PL too. We have blast racing them around my homemade track, for hours. We are ages 30 to 60 year old kids. My 12 year old nephew can drive it like a pro. Durability is amazing. We all have cartwheeled them doing 30mph plus, on 3s batteries, and they just keep going. Worn out tires and that is it. Have not even replaced any of the generously added spare parts yet. Ran into another on the track head on at 30mph ish and dented a rim on one, but didn't even notice it and just kept racing. We have ran for hours on 3S with no heat issues. Just swap Batts and keep going. The 1st one I bought have well over 100 hours on it and on 4th set of tires, due to a lot of asphalt racing, but that is all that I have replaced on that one. Son has ran one into the SAME BOLDER at full throttle TWICE now and broke the front shock mount. 😳 had him back on the track after 5min repairs. Flying chopper, you learn what parts to keep on hand to keep the fun going when the have the time, to have the fun. Hyper Go store on Amazon seems to keep the parts in good supply with usually a 2 day shipping to my repair bench, for my home location anyway. No I am not affiliated with the company. I just got done racing with my son and my buddies for a few hour and had to rave about them. Luckily we didn't get DUIs. Cheers. If you catch my draft. LOL.

Almost hobby grade without the same cost
Been into radio control for a very long time. Brother wanted to race again with our kids. Being older and buying as Christmas gifts we didn’t want to go crazy so these looked good. On sale at Christmas let’s just say worth every penny. Made rough rules, 1/16th scale, 2s power, brushed or brushless ok and even limiting battery so similar size and c rating. Trucks, buggy’s, 2 or 4 wheel drive allowed.I picked this winner and not disappointed. Extra tires, brushless, decent batteries and well made. On 2s lipo it really is a handful, very fast. Fast like you’re not even going to make a uturn on asphalt in 12-16 feet wide without slowing first. Off road has so much power really is a handful. Yet to even try 3s power which it supports. Two hoods, nice and overall happy with it.Not all roses tho, hood clips are hard to use for me glad they enclose extras. Radio works but I ended up replacing with a better one- Flysky fs-gt3c model. More range but I really needed the exponential control to dial back steering so car not as twitchy at high speeds. Dual rates fine on base radio but lacked expo and a few other niceties that a long time Rc user gets used to having. Steering servo is plastic geared and analog so again I upgraded that to digital metal geared. Expect to align it some, and even then it has some steering slop I can not get rid of without major front end changes so drifts left then right which brought me back to the expo need on radio to hold a line better. If you toe-in front wheels more to hold straight line better it’s going to wear the tires pretty fast. The charger is ok but again not hobby grade. I’d advise those using it to get a cheap lipo voltage checker with buzzer. Can find on Amazon for under 10 bucks. Tip: don’t discharge past 3.6volts per cell and store them at around 3.85 volts per cell not fully charged and they will last a lot longer.Anyway I do enjoy it and ready to race my brother, his kids and my kid and grandkids, not hobby grade but darn close.

This thing is FAST and FUN
I ordered this on a whim walking through the garage seeing my son's 5 (non hobby character) R/C cars. He always complained they weren't "fast" and he wanted to do flips and stuff with then. So I sought out on Amazon to find something that's quality for the price! After reading a few reviews I decided on this car. I've never had a hobby style r/c car but this car is very well put together. Between the metal underbody, oil assisted shocks, metal driveshaft and solid construction I would expect this same quality from something around $300.The tires, luckily come with another set because the "bigger" set, one of the tires I don't think was glued at the factory BUT, my reasoning for 5 stars is, I reached out VIA email, and they are willing to send me out a new set of tires eventhough they are not covered under the warranty but the customer service is amazing! The receiver seems a little cheap, but you can easily order a new one for $50 and be able to dial the steering in a little more. But for the price this thing is super fun and worth every penny I've put into it! So much so I ordered my son a different hyperGO truck but now we can race them!!!

Plastic steering and suspension parts can break easily.
Only reason why it is 4 stars and not 5 is due to the fact the first day I ended up using most of the tread on the tires. Thing likes to spin and do donuts while trying to get the steering aligned. The other reason is the steering ends are plastic and broke on the 3rd day. Besides that the car is fast even with the 2S battery and is fun to drive. There is a lot of after market support parts available as well which I like to see.Manufacturer is very helpful. Helped get me a replacement steering link / tie rod and was very responsive. Definitely had a good experience getting warranty help.

Great car. Great customer support.
My son received this cat for Christmas and was immediately in love with it. It goes so fast and is clearly a next level RC car. We highly recommend NOT running it into walls. This is NOT a bumper car. My son did this (as he’s done with many RC cars) and it broke a piece on the back and made the car unusable. I contacted the seller on Amazon and they sent the replacement part. Super easy fix. Good communicators. Now the car works great!
