Great value for an entry RC
This is a great car for the money. I was worried I might be disappointed, but it absolutely rips on 2 cell and is insane on 3 cell. I would recommend getting the upgraded shock towers. The plastic ones are a little brittle and if you drive under something low enough to hit them, they can break. They give a lot of spare parts but I do wish they would include a hardware kit with extra screws. Overall, I am very satisfied with its durability, speed, and handling.

Almost hobby grade without the same cost
Been into radio control for a very long time. Brother wanted to race again with our kids. Being older and buying as Christmas gifts we didn’t want to go crazy so these looked good. On sale at Christmas let’s just say worth every penny. Made rough rules, 1/16th scale, 2s power, brushed or brushless ok and even limiting battery so similar size and c rating. Trucks, buggy’s, 2 or 4 wheel drive allowed.I picked this winner and not disappointed. Extra tires, brushless, decent batteries and well made. On 2s lipo it really is a handful, very fast. Fast like you’re not even going to make a uturn on asphalt in 12-16 feet wide without slowing first. Off road has so much power really is a handful. Yet to even try 3s power which it supports. Two hoods, nice and overall happy with it.Not all roses tho, hood clips are hard to use for me glad they enclose extras. Radio works but I ended up replacing with a better one- Flysky fs-gt3c model. More range but I really needed the exponential control to dial back steering so car not as twitchy at high speeds. Dual rates fine on base radio but lacked expo and a few other niceties that a long time Rc user gets used to having. Steering servo is plastic geared and analog so again I upgraded that to digital metal geared. Expect to align it some, and even then it has some steering slop I can not get rid of without major front end changes so drifts left then right which brought me back to the expo need on radio to hold a line better. If you toe-in front wheels more to hold straight line better it’s going to wear the tires pretty fast. The charger is ok but again not hobby grade. I’d advise those using it to get a cheap lipo voltage checker with buzzer. Can find on Amazon for under 10 bucks. Tip: don’t discharge past 3.6volts per cell and store them at around 3.85 volts per cell not fully charged and they will last a lot longer.Anyway I do enjoy it and ready to race my brother, his kids and my kid and grandkids, not hobby grade but darn close.

Some Things Could be Better
This thing rips! It is not under powered at all. 100% on the throttle is easily out of control, esp if off road. 70% might be too much for beginners. EDIT(My only complaint is the back wheels are towed in and there is no adjustment. I wish I would have noticed before I drove it. I would have sent it back.) I have found out since then, that just about every RC car on the market has the back wheels towed in just a bit. It is supposed to help with stability at high speeds. The fronts are towed out, but they are adjustable. It still hauls and is loads of fun for the price. I will probably get a metal suspension upgrade when something breaks. That shouldn't be too long as fast as this thing goes. I can't imagine being able to drive it on 3s. EDIT: I still haven't broken anything that is not fixable. It likes to land on its top sometimes off of jumps and that led to the wing popping off. It turns out that the OEM screws were really short. I replaced them with some a little bit longer and they seem to hold up better. The best thing I did was upgrade the receiver and transmitter with a combo from Dumbo RC with an adjustable gyro. It keeps it straight under hard acceleration.

Brings me back.
I'm from the Tamiya generation. Bought this for my son's bday and it would have blown any of my old RCs away. Brushless and 2c lipos work great and runtime is impressive. We've broken a few parts like shocks, but very easy to find replacement parts. To be fair, we bash this thing regularly, and that shock was broken jumping at a skatepark. Tip: duct tape completely on the inside of the shell makes it almost indestructible.

TRASH! BREAKS under normal use!!
Trash. 1 star because that is the lowest allowed. It breaks under normal use. No jumping etc. So far my son has had to replace the main drive shaft gear (some sort of crap soft metal) and they front shock snapped where it mounts (cheap plastic). Today, the main structural mount for the front shocks stopped (hard plastic piece).Every part is $10-50 USD.I tried talking to customer service to order a part since it wasn’t listed in the manual (the main spur gear) and they were not helpful and just stopped responding. I even told them I would have to return it to Amazon without help and they still didn’t care.It is now past the return date so it is not able to be returned to Amazon. When it work, it’s is fun to drive (11 year old boy). It has only been working about 20% of the time owned (3 months) due to waiting for parts.I would NOT buy this again.

Very quick little car!
Car is stupid fast! Takes some getting used to that much power on takeoff, but is manageable for myself and my 15 year old son. Does not come with the 3 cell battery that allows it to go full speed, but it's probably better to practice at lower power. Battery life with the included batteries is sufficient. Chassis construction is solid, but I wouldn't run it into anything solid since there is nothing to protect the front wheels. The front end alignment needed serious adjustment right out of the box, but the process is simple. It is small, and very powerful. Use caution and have fun!

Great rc buggy y highly recommend it.
Absolutely excellent!!! It’s fast, comes with replacement parts for the harder to get stuff (diff and driveshafts), comes with good quality batteries that each last close to 30 mins. It is probably the best rc car you can get for the price! The only drawback I can complain about is the use of Philips screws instead of the hex hardware that has sort of become industry standard now-a-days but for the price I absolutely don’t mind it.
