It's a great addition to the kitchen. Gives a nice class look. And it can hold a lot of knives and I don't need to place the knife in a particular direction. The black strings inside the wood seems sturdy. I like how easy it is to clean. I like it's functionality. I don't need to put this block at the edge of the counter to not hit my hand to the cupboard above, while pulling out a knife. It's well designed to place it deep inside the counter. It's completely worth the money.

Its a little longer than i had expected it to be. However it works better that way because i havr a few larger knives that fit now because of its durability and ease of placinng knives. It holds several in a nice neat way and they dont move around. Other than iy being quite tall it is a bit heavier which is awesome so it doesnt slide around as we try to remove and add back into with each use. I believe it was worth the money since we have been looking for just over a year and they just dont get any better

held a set of 8 Global Knives and a pair of kitchen shears. Flexible organizing. Knives are easy to reach. Looks great on my counter top.

I really wanted to get rid of our old knife block. The slots were not wide enough for several of our knives, making storage a pain.This block is really beautiful and unobtrusive. It seems well-made and the removable brushes are great! I love the added steak knife holder. The finish is nice and smooth and doesn't look like cheap shellac.When it arrived one of the feet and its little block had broken off. Luckily, it was easily repaired with some Titebond II and a small clamp. It was completely hidden, so there is no way to tell it ever had an issue. The wood had just split where a brad had been put into the block.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this item again and may even get one for my parents for the holidays.

Overall it looks pretty nice but a little over priced in my opinion. I'm not expecting it to last very long. It doesn't appear to be very durable. It also arrived missing one of the 4 felt surface pads so it wobles. Not a huge deal but it just makes you wonder why the manufacturers can't ever seem to get anything right.

Love this - all my knives fit without having to match up corresponding slots. Simply slide them in. Easy-peasy.
