Worked better than I expected. The kit was basic, but I did use the foam roller on a full size handle. The paint does have a strong chemical smell but cleans up easily with soap and water. It takes a while to be able to apply it evenly on window glass, but mixing it thoroughly, prepainting the edges, multiple thin coats and rolling in two directions helps a lot. Also, when it's fully dry it looks completely even. I put 3 coats on 16 sq ft of skylight glass with 1/3 of a 16oz container left.The end result is perfect - still about 50% light coming through and no ability to see through the paint.

I brought this frosted paint for my patio door..I needed something to block the view from the neighbor...I figure I give it a chance...I was going to get the mirror film, but decided to give this a try. And Boy, I love it!! ..it blocks from peering eyes! And what's great about this, it's easy to put on...I taped the section I wanted to paint, and went for it!! Even tho with the frost is on, you still get the sun. I would highly recommend this product! On the left side is only painted once, waiting for it to dry, on the right side it's painted twice...I left the top and bottom untouched.

Very easy to apply and very easy to clean. Once application was applied, it took around 30 min to dry. It only took me 2 coats to look nice and smooth. I was worried about having streaks but it drys up pretty evenly.

I read several reviews of these products before purchasing them. I read about streaking and other issues. I decided to use a small window in my house before trying it on the windows for which I needed it. A few things that I learned. The first step is to ensure the window is spotless and dry. Using a different roller than the one sent is also a good idea. The one that comes with it does seem to make larger streaks. Make sure the strokes are up and down. The full length of the window. Not partial strokes or streaks. Let the first coat fully dry before applying a second coat, or you may end up with white areas if not all of it dries. Please ensure you have sufficient time to complete it, and avoid doing it in a hurry, as this may lead to issues. Other than that, we love it, and it seems to be working for the purpose for which we bought it.

I bought this after trying frosted window peels (after a few weeks they started curling up at the edges), and a frosted spray paint for windows (it was insanely blotchy and looked terrible). I had to scrape off the spray paint which took about an hour on 2 windows with multiple small panes on both - but I am very glad I did. After the first round with this stuff, it was already better than the spray paint. And by the second coat - it looked like I bought new windows. I'll post pics of round 1 and 2.

Used this to coat a window in our house and couldn't be happier! Applied 3-4 coats and it was just what I was looking for! Easy and no mess. Highly recommend!

We had such high hopes for this product. We were trying to cover a large square window in our bathroom to provide privacy. When you paint it on, it is almost impossible to cover up the lines. After reading other reviews we waited for it to dry and hoped that they would disappear, then applied 2 more coats. Unfortunately the lines were still there. It Looked Terrible! We thought maybe it was user error, so tried again the next day with better application roller and had the same problem. **One important thing that we learned is that you do not have to use paint remover to take it off. Straight white vinegar sprayed or sponged on softens it up and then you can scrape it off. Removal is still a mess, but at least it comes off.

I bought this product to frost the roof of my greenhouse to protect my orchids from direct sunlight. I spent about half an hour putting up all sorts of drop cloths to cover my plants... There was absolutely no need; there were no drips because the product is applied in very thin layers. I also recommend the foam roller included with the kit; it makes a nice, smooth texture over the glass. I was really surprised at how well the paint worked, and how easy it was to install. This product exceeded my expectations!
