Very nice product, parts were very well made, instructions were precise in order to build the product. It's a nice ornamental piece and people always ask where it came from. Building it required some time and ability to handle pieces like very small nuts and bolts but the end product is worth it..!

this model far exceeded my expectations. and they were pretty high. all the parts fit perfectly and the finish was wonderful. there were a few challenges but it was a very fun experience. it displays very well and has quite the imposing presence. worth every penny i cant recommend this 1 enough. its a must for anyone into this type of model. be sure to have good lighting and a work mat to minimize loss of parts. they are super tiny after all.

Great, challenging, high quality, puzzle that looks great. I would definitely recommend as a gift for older kids and adults. I’m in my 60’s and couldn’t put it down until it was done.

I am an adult, and really enjoyed constructing this. Very impressed by how well organized the parts were, and the instructions. Had no issues building this awesome work of art. Good quality materials. I enjoy the wing movement capabilities, being able to set the wings in either up or down pose. This has been my entry into this type of project, and I am looking forward to getting more.

My only gripe about this particular build is that the parts don't stay tight, I don't move it a bunch so it's not toooo big of a deal, just handling it will cause the legs to come loose and it's very hard to tighten them after the build is complete. If you wanted to prevent that I guess you could use loctite as long as you mock it up before using it.

Fun and easy build! Instructions were easy to follow and the kit included plenty of spare parts. Just a heads up though, the legs have difficulty standing up on their own. I personally made my metal wasp a stand out of a piece of wood and several small nails. Looks awesome!

It says that it’s for ages 8+, I don’t see too many 8 year olds being able to do this. There’s many small parts and hard to keep track of. I’ve been doing models for years and I found it very challenging and a lot of fun. If you don’t have a lot of patience, know how to read blueprints and have the right tools you probably won’t like this. If I didn’t have a series of clamps and vices I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much, it definitely takes more than two hands. Overall, for experienced hobbyists it’s a great product, just challenging enough and the right amount of time to assemble. I highly recommend for anyone experienced and looking for a challenge.
