If you're looking at this, you get migraines like I do. Tl;dr just buy this.So I started looking at this type of ice head wrap situation when I was getting that pre-migraine headache that can last anywhere from a day to a week. I figured I would buy this one because it was on the lower end of prices, so if it didn't work I wouldn't be out too much money.You GUYS.It came and I threw it in the freezer and waited with dread for the real migraine to hit. When it did, I popped this thing on me head and it was FANTASTIC. It has different fabric on either side, one soft and one more nylon/polyester. The soft side makes the cold temperature feel like a deeper cold? I don't know how to describe it. It's not surface cold, but it chills your head deeply. Like your face won't feel like it's touching something icy but you get the deep pain relief chill. The nylon side (also soft, but also smooth) is more surface cold as well.I have a bigger melon, and it fits well. It's a little tight, but in a helpful compression-like way. There's a drawstring opening at the top that I tie my hair into a top knot and pull through, as I find that makes the whole set up for better and feel better.Product itself is well made and had no discernable odor. It came in a little zip top bag and I recommend using this in the freezer to avoid it picking up that freezer smell.I highly recommend this. I can't imagine how the more expensive versions of this product can be much better. I will say the only critique I have of this icy wrap is that it doesn't stay cold as long as I'd like. It does re-chill pretty quickly though. I also haven't heated it (another feature, you can microwave it for heat therapy), so I can't speak to that.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It looked soft, is reversible & has 2 fabrics-the fuzzier side is less cold & nice to start then as the cap warms I flip it to the cooler fabric. Also found it's lovely to use on my inflamed knees. Already bought another

I love this thing so much it’s so relaxing works so well for headaches or even if you’re just hot it stays cold decently long

I like this a lot, I just wish it stayed colder for much longer! I think I get max 30mins of cold relief before it’s basically back to room temperature. But it is amazing for my migraines while it lasts, and the compression alone is nice too. You can wear it reversed if desired but I find that the softer side is better against my face otherwise it’s too dramatically cold, but to each their own. It’s got some weight to it which I was surprised by but it is very sturdy which is good. I haven’t noticed any bothersome smells but I’ve been doing what the reviews suggested and have kept it in the original zip back that it came in and it hasn’t absorbed any freezer smell. The coverage is nice, but would be even better if it came down lower on both the front and back so it could get more of the maxillary sinuses and occipital area.

I really love this cap. I keep in in the bag in the freezer so it’s always ready when I need it. If I’m over heated, anxious, or have a headache I put it on and it kind of calms everything down. I ordered one a few months ago but my daughter claimed it on her last visit, so I got this one. The gel is thick enough that the coldness lasts a good long time. It’s super comfortable but snug so it gives me the right amount of comfort and tension to ease my head ache.

I get headaches frequently and am always needing an ice pack for my head! This is a delightful "cap" as it gives wonderful coolness to your whole head at once. The only downside is it doesn't stay cold that long, if they could fix that I'd buy several more.

Worth the purchase! Takes the pain away from the migraine, super easy to use. Just put it in the freezer when you get it, and by the time you need it, it will stay cold for a few hours! Not as heavy as I thought, but the quality of the product/how it was made is fantastic!

Plastic Clip to adjust is Melting & will BURN you getting it out of microwave. We had it just over 30 days & only used for Cold. Daughter had wisdom teeth removed & needed heat therapy for pain. Followed instructions heating for 30 second interval & the push button to tighten the straps started MELTING.Works great for cold therapy on migraines!!
