Battles of Napoleonic Europe being a magnificent solitaire Napoleonics game by Mike Lambo.This game is a master class on how you write a clear, concise and fun game that gives your brain a good tactical/strategic workout.There are twenty scenarios each with their own map as well as unique A.I. opponent. In each battle covered you play one time as the British/Allies and another time as the French. Each switching of sides though has it's own map, which is different if even slightly, as well as a unique A.I.The game system is elegantly written and easy to grasp. This does not mean that the scenarios are a cakewalk. You are up against not only a good A.I. opponent but the fog of war of not being totally sure your plans/orders will be carried out, very specific victory conditions as well as a time limit of 10 turns.Do not look for exact orders of battle as they are abstract and made for a more balanced gaming experience.For the price you will get a gaming experience far superior to most of the other overproduced, overcomplicated and overpriced games of this type.Also go to Mike Lambo's YouTube page and watch the teaching video for this game which is how a how-to-play video should be done.Huzzah!

Mike Lambo has done an outstanding job with this game. The AI is well thought out and works well. More important, the rules are clear and unambiguous. The game itself is challenging. This may be his best game yet.
