Great product that perfectly suited my needs!The edge of the carpet on the border between the stone tile floor of my entryway and the carpeted area of the adjacent hallway was beginning to fray, and unfortunately my dog was trying to eat those fibers. I covered the edge of the carpet with duct tape for a quick fix, but that certainly wasn't aesthetically pleasing or a permanent solution.This carpet trim was just what I needed. Here are a few key points and suggestions:* It looked exactly as described. The color was spot-on, as was the size.* The vinyl seems durable enough for a moderate-traffic area.* While it can be cut with large scissors, shop shears (mine are Fiskars Pro Powerarc) make the job much easier.* Totally get some shop shears. It's an inexpensive piece of kit and super-handy.* Measure twice, cut once! I used a black Sharpie to make my cutting line.* It arrives rolled up, so be sure to roll it in the opposite direction and leave it for about 15-30 minutes to flatten out.* Be sure to use the included primer, but be warned: it doesn't smell very good. Keep pets/kids away while it dries.* I used the edge of a weighted-down box to help ensure I was laying it down in a straight line.* Once it's stuck, it's pretty stuck.* Installation took less than 10 minutes (after it flattened out, of course).* It's very low-profile, and comfortable to step on.* Hasn't shown any signs of coming loose from either the tile or the carpet.Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance and price. Highly recommended.

There's about an inch difference in one of my doorways from one floor to the other, and I replaced an old, outdated strip of metal. This change updated the look with a wood-like appearance, and covered the size (width and height) that was needed. I've had this room separator strip for about two years, and it still looks good and adheres well, helping to prevent me from tripping over a gap.

Got on an off chance, but it has done a fantastic job. It sticks to the carpet and the vinyl floor perfectly. It is the right thickness to act as a transition between the 2 floors, with enough width to be smooth. It is a smooth, texture, solid rubber feel. Without anything poking it, it should last a good long while.

Our laminate hardwoods were cracking in this doorway (from uneven floors) and this was the absolute PERFECT fix! It was easy to cut, easy to apply and is VERY sticky. The material is very durable and I have no doubt it will hold up even with the heavy foot traffic!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works well, adhesive a lot stronger than I expected and those not move or come loose.

It was easy to cut and stick to the floor. Because I was trying to smooth out a spot that wasn’t level it would not properly stick and lay flat. I put hand weights on it over night and so far so good

I will buy more. Sticks well and covers the room dividers really nicely. Easy to clean .
