Quality exceeds price tag!
Yes it’s from China, but the value is extremely hard to beat. The quality, fit, finish, and function far exceeds the price tag! Great bang for your buck!

They nailed it
The media could not be loaded. The Gmascus is beautiful. The blade arrived push cut thin paper shaving sharp, which was a nice surprise. The action out of the box perfect. Detent perfect. Button lock… this was also a surprise…out of the box perfect. No stick. Smooth. Solid lock up, spine wack test with no issues. While it’s recessed more than say Kizer, it’s still very easy to operate if you are used to button locks. I usually have to break in and fine tune my action and button locks on my more expensive knives. This one just arrived perfect. Didn’t need to do anything to it. Video was right out of the box. Petrified fish legit nailed this. This is as smooth as my way more expensive button locks. K110 is fine at this price, and from youtube reviews petrified fish K110 is one of the best. Cut tests on you tube have it just shy of S35VN on edge retention. All body screws are T8 which is awesome. Fit and finish are great. Pocket clip looks amazing with good retention. Love this knife. Definitely a keeper. Petrified fish definitely hitting way above its price range.

Feels like Quality
This is an excellent knife with many features of more expensive brands. I am very impressed with the ease of opening, blade sharpness, and build quality. I'm happy with my purchase.

I like it a lot, but I don't love it
Petrified Fish (AKA PF) makes some of the best budget knives around, and this one is a step up in quality. As I said in the title, I like this knife a lot, but I don't love it for a few reasons. I will start with that.1) The button to release the blade is a bit small, low, and smooth. It takes some effort to use it. *However, some people may see this as a good thing since it will be harder to accidentally unlock the blade. For me, it is not a good thing.2) The thumb studs are almost useless since it takes too much effort to get my thumb in just the right place to open the blade. This is because there is too little room between the grip and the thumb stud. I will be using the flipper tab on this knife.3) The frame is not nested in the beautiful Damascus grips, though this complaint is so minor that I almost did not mention it. This is for the very picky people. These are the only two reasons I do not absolutely love this knife (the third reason is too insignificant), and there are many reasons why I really like it (not in any order of importance).1) The Damascus (AKA Gmascus) grip is awesome. It feels solid and has a very fine texture that makes for a solid grip.2) The blade shape, length, and satin finish are fantastic. I don't have any experience with K110 steel, but I will count this as a positive feature.3) The button lock keeps the blade open reasonably well. I phrased it as "reasonably well" since I am not going to repeatedly bash the back of the blade against a solid object until it fails. I opened the blade and then repeatedly hit the back of the blade against the palm of my hand. It did not fail. If I need something that can take hard abuse, I will use a fixed blade.4) It's got a titanium pocket clip. This is not a big thing for me since I prefer deep carry clips, but it does differentiate this budget knife from the rest.5) It has a flipper tab! Thank goodness for this, or else I would have to use the thumb stud, and I would not like that. If that were the case, this would be a two-star knife because of usability.6) The blade is absolutely dead center.7) The action is perfect, as I have come to expect from PF.8) It's not a liner lock! Inexpensive knives, and some not so inexpensive knives, have disappointing liner locks that look flimsy.PF is stepping up their game, and this is a really nice knife that is worth the price. I think this knife comes close to competing with the Vosteed Raccoon, but just misses the mark by the slightest of margins (the button lock and the thumb studs). Even though I listed things I thought could be improved, I do not regret buying this knife and would buy it again. I would 100% buy it again if they tweaked the issues I addressed. I look forward to seeing more premium knives by PF.

Beautiful
I purchased this knife because I saw it on a YouTube video and as good as it looked on video still didn't do justice to how beautiful this knife actually is. The blade is so smooth in appearance and deployment with a good secure push button handle lock. The handle is awesome looking and fits well in my hand without feeling beefy and thick. This knife is so nice I'm almost afraid to carry it because I don't want it to get scratched but a pocket knife is meant to be carried in your pocket so it would be an injustice to never carry it. I'm thinking I might just buy another one so I have two because I'm so impressed by this Petrified Fish.

Nice knife but lousy clip
I don't know if the clip is a titanium alloy or what the deal is but it definitely has no spring memory. I've had two PF knives that advertised titanium clips and both clips have bent within 2 months of daily wear. They permanently deformed and did not spring back. When I contacted PF they said, "sorry about that, buy a new clip." I don't know about you but for me any EDC knife is a package deal. Either it is a great knife or a junk knife. So, I'm afraid this is junk. And it's a shame because the knife itself is decent.

Blades a bit too long posing a cut risk.
Knife arrived very sharp and ready to go. First few flicks open where the tiniest bit rough, smoothed out within 7 openings and good since then. The closed detent is not the best, blade bounces when flipped closed leaving you to make sure it clicks into place. Which leads to the main issue. The blade is too long, it comes almost right to the end of the handle. Due to this, if you are holding the handle in the middle of your hand, the tip of the blade can nick you while shutting the knife. Nothing major, but already got my hand 3 times before I figured out the right way to hold it.For the price it is a good knife, came with a sharp edge, looks very classy, and the materials should hold up to daily use.Just wish the handle was a tad longer or the blade was a touch shorter.
