Reolink 4K+ Ultra HD 12MP PoE Security Camera with Spotlight, Human/Vehicle Detection, Color Night Vision, Two-Way Audio, 24/7 Recording, microSD Card Slot, RLC-1224A

Very high resolution, so much so that the rest of my Reolink system couldn't process the steam at that resolution, I had to downgrade the "clear" Stream on this camera from 4512x2512 to 3840x2160. Now I can view the clear live feed on my home computer.Before I downgraded, the system was still happily recording at 4512x2512, I just couldn't live stream it to my PC at that rate.Also worth mentioning: I already had 4 cameras, this was bought as an extra camera. When I came to add this camera as a new device, it failed to install just using the Reolink software on my PC. When I plugged a monitor and wired mouse DIRECTLY INTO the NVR the new camera added itself almost immediately. I didn't have to do anything other than enable the "Add new Devices Automatically" option using the NVR interface.Reolink support were very helpful.The PC software gives you extra controls for this camera: activate the spotlight, activate the speaker, activate the siren, activate the Infra red lights.Just a small point, but If you select night-time 'COLOUR', that works really well in the half-light up to the point when it gets really dark, then you see nothing because the infra red cameras get disabled with that option.Alternatively, if you select night-time 'AUTO', then as it is going dark, the camera seems to switch to IR with its black and white image much too soon. The camera should stay on colour for a lot longer than it does and record a good colour image until almost total darkness. Reolink could improve this very easily.

Very impressed with this camera - fantastic picture quality and very easy to install / set up with the phone app and Mac client - settings are very easy to work out to get the desired quality of videos, setting up the recording schedule is also easy to do - very well built! Only down side is you can’t control the angle you want , you have to manually move camera to the desired position which isn’t a big issue but would be better if you could do via the app / clientHighly recommend buying

This was an additional camera added to my system. The picture and quality is grand. However it do wish I had gone for Hikvision as their full colour night mode looks superior.

had a couple of issues ( one open box with a damaged camera ) but the replacement is great, the quality is brilliant also, upgraded from the swan cctv system to the reolink and it is night and day difference, highly recommend.you pay a little more but the quality is worth it.these cameras are not really any good for wall mounting, think soffit mounting only

Super easy to install and configure.App works well.Best feature is that this just needs a microSD card to record (insert into the camera itself) and buy a cheap PoE switch betwenn your router and the camera.No need to buy a separate NVR or DVR which saves a lot to cost and hassle

I’ve only installed it a couple of days ago, but so far it has performed great . Easy to set up and initialise , tho I haven’t completed all the settings/ alerts etc yet, but don’t anticipate any problems as the software behaves very stable . Really great video and playback functionality. 5 star

Excellent support and customer service. Excellent product. First had to be replaced because of fault.
